Failed my vision test?
I went to MEPS today to join the National Guard, passed everything but my vision test. They are sending me to their optometrist on Monday. I couldnt wear my glasses for the test. When I wear them, I see fine. My prescription is 8.75 and 9. What are the chances of me getting into the Army National Guard? I really want to get into this.
I took a vision test and it said I had 180/200 vision?
It also said 0.9 is that good or bad and how would you translate that into the 20 20 testing system

I was at school and I took a vision test from the nurse and she said that my vision was something like 20, 20, 25 . I didn't have time to ask her any questions as there were alot of kids. Lifeguard vision test?
My eye contact perscription is 3. I can't see from far In order to pass a lifeguard test you need to have a minimum of 20 30 vision in one eye and 20 40 in the other, without corrective lenses. I don't know if I would qualify, i'm not sure how 3.25 would convert to that... can somebody please help me?Thanks
I can't pass a vision test with my right eye is that bad?
i took the troditional vision test the one that you say were the E is pointing to and with my right eye i can't even tell its a E but with my left i do perfect with my right eye only i can't read from far and with both open i can read it fine is that a problem
Are ophthalmologists better with vision testing than Pearle Vision eye doctors?
I'm currently 25 years old and I used to go to this eye doctor at Pearle Vision because I'm near sighted. Every two year I go to her for checkup and she ALWAYS changes the prescription each time I go. She claims my vision is getting slightly worse overtime, so she needs to make the prescription a little stronger so I can see a little better. I have a nice collection of old glasses because she's always changing the prescription every two years. Well, after my last prescription with her got me dizzy and she got cranky on me because I questioned the prescription, I decided to go to an ophthalmologist the following year. He was very highly recommended by my physician. When I went to him, he had to change the prescription a little bit and oddly enough, it was very different than what the Pearle Vision doctor prescribed. So I got another new pair of glasses that year. Now, two years later, I went to back to this ophthalmologist for my checkup and guess what? He said everything is ok and there was no change on my prescription. So, I get to continue wearing the same glasses that he prescribed two year ago.I was shocked that for the first time in over a decade, I've never had a change in my prescription. When I told my friend about it, he told me that the reason why that Pearle Vision eyedoctor kept changing my prescription is because they just want to make money since she works at Pearle Vision and they're in the business of selling eyeglasses. Since ophthalmologists don't make money selling glasses, they're not going to change the prescription if it's not necessary.Is my friend right? Is it better that I go to an ophthalmologist now rather than one of those Pearle Vision eye doctors?
Results from vision test.?
I took an eye test today in P.E. and I got 20 30 in my left eye and 20 50 in my right eye. Not sure how far away I was standing, probably about 20 feet. Is this good. What does this mean? Footprintz No actually I don't which is why I didn't understand when he said 20 50. I can notice a difference in the 2 eyes vision wise, but no that much.

i am 13 and i took a eye test at school and i failed my eyes are usually great and i can see long distance etc i took about every test online to see and i got them all good and passed all but i am still worried about the one at school and i absolutely dont want 2 go and get a proper test and i dont want glasses

Vision test and eye sight?
I was having an physical and the Dr. wanted to test my vision we worked up to 20 feet and I could only read the top 2 lines with my left eye and top 3 lines with my right eye. Since the nurse administered the test she had a funny look on her face but did not say anything other than " how do you get around" memory as I am home bound due to illness . What does this indicate ? Yes , I realize I can't see well and up until this vision test my last one was in 1995 . I fall and walk into things. The Dr, didn't refer me to an eye Dr. so is my vision that bad. He was more worried about my lungs and bone pain but I am worried about going blind. Judging by what info I gave you what is my vision.
