Please help me quick! Ok. What will happen if I was not to pass my vision screening for Drivers Ed?

5 yr old sons vision screening?
It went very badly today. He has 20 70 in his right eye and 20 200 in his left. They said he was far sighted with astigmatism. To be sure they want him to come back next week so they can fully dilate his eyes and re do the test.He also said I should've brought him in sooner and they might could have prevented it from getting this bad. He said kids should have eye tests every 2 years. Where is that these kind of things are listed?? I feel so guilty and horrible... The doctor said he was born with it but apparently I didnt help by not taking him to an eye doctor sooner...Hes never complained of headaches, poor vision or blurry vision, hes never squinted or acted like there was a problem... The doctor also said they wont know if its been caught soon enough untill next week to start improving his vision... Is there anywhere that has a list of when you take your child here, or there and please be brutal...i know I somehow overlooked something... thanks
What happens if you fail a vision screening at school?
I want to know, what happens if you fail a vision test at school. You will probably get a slip. Do your 'rents have to sign it or something? Any experiences?

had my yearly vision screening today but i don't really get what all the numbers mean so my rx is d.v spherical cylindrical axis o.d 7.75 0.75 169 o.s 7.50 0.75 179 if you can help me figure out what all that means and why with out glasses i can't read any of the letters on the chart.what im not understanding is how bad is my vision with it being 7 they told me today because its a 7 is why i need my eyes dialted to check for tears in my retna
Tips on passing the DMV vision screening?
I read eye charts fine at the optometrists office, but have all kinds of trouble with those machines at the DMV when I renew my driver's license. I am afraid I won't pass. Help?
How to cheat on a vision screening test? ?
I am wearing glasses that are thick and I don't want them to get thicker because ti makes me very dizzy but I don't pass the vision screening and the nurse will send home a note. It takes place in school. Please help me and dont tell em not to. I need to pass it this year. And why do I need to take it in school. That is just stupid because my parents can afford to bring me to an eye docot rif I need help. So all the other students take it too.
