Does LASIK or PRK work? what are the benefits and downsides? Can you fly in planes afterwords i heard the pressure can make your eye rupture ? Does close vision get worse if you have distance vision repaired and vice versa? Will it stay corrected? is it safe? Thanks.

I was wondering how old you have to be to lasik eye surgery or any vision correction surgery. I'm 15 years old but my vision is just so bad its something like 8.25 8 i've had glasses since kindergarden and i hate having glasses. also how much would it cost? thanks in advance

I'm seriously contemplating vision correction surgery, what's the best procedure?
I know there's lasik, there's the one where they actually insert a lens into your lens...just to name a few. I believ lasik has the fastest healing time, I'm just very hesitant as you only have one set of eyes...if they mess up, you could be blinded or have terrible vision.

Does a vision correction surgery affects us later in r life?
They say i one undergoes this surgery he or she WILL have many problems later in their life include vision lost.

How long before I can get LASIK vision correction surgery in the US Navy?
Lets say that I am enlisting as a HM E 3, and get orders to FMTB at Pendleton for a 8404 FMF Field Medical Service Technician rating after A School. I've taken some pre op exams here and am very qualified, but I cant afford the surgery, and plan on using the navy to pay for it so I can go to spec ops after a few years as an 8404. I got a 93 on ASVAB and am physically qualified for the SO rating, just cant see very well 400 . So about when would I expect to be able to get the surgery, assuming that I DO get the chance to go to FMTB for 8404? Thanks everyone I really appreciate all your help
