Theatrical Contact Lenses

Why are my theatrical contact lenses irritating me?
So I bought these theatrical contact lenses online. Paid 50 bucks for them. I put them in a solution as directed before using them. One of my contacts is fine, but the other, it feels like something is on my lens because it irritates my eyes. I feel it when I move my eye when its closed. I've taken the lens out, re cleaned it, and still feel it. Now these lenses don't have a prescription so they are just for asthetics. I have astigmatisms, but I wear my glasses with them. I've even rinsed my eyes with an allergy rinse to see if it was allergy related. I have worn contacts for years. Please help

Do theatrical contact lenses work like regular contacts?
or are they just for show
