Do you normally get weighed at the eye doctor, or do you just have to put your weight down?
I am going to the eye doctor tomorrow and I just want to know what to expect.
At the eye doctors my vision got worse after they dialated them... PLEASE READ I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
yesterday i went to the eye doctors and before my eyes were dialated my vision was 20 40 my left eye being weaker and after they dialated the actually doctor tested me and my vision went to 20 100 and the best he could get it to be was 20 50 corrected so why do they dialate your eyes and test you when you cant see. now i have to go back for field test and such
What is it like getting your eyes numbed at the eye doctor?
Tomorrow I'm going to the eye doctor and they're going to numb my eyes. I can't put contacts in my eyes for some reason, so my doctor ordered me a pair of the old fashioned contacts in hope that they're small enough for me to put them in myself. However, my eyes are really sensitive so she's worried about the reaction my eyes will have to those contacts. She's going to put them in for me but numb both of my eyes before so I can ease into the change quicker. What can I expect from getting them numbed? Does it hurt? I hate having things touch my eye so I'm pretty worried.
Can the eye doctor tell if kids are faking bad vision?
If so how can they tell? Would they call them out on it?

Straight approch won't work and since I play golf I told her that I had a hard time finding my ball because it was fuzzy far out but she just replied that oh I must be hitting my balls farther. I also told her my eyes were tired but she didnt say anything. It's not much of an issue in he classroom but I know she would avoid doctors but I don't know why though.

he said i need to get an MRI for the brain, he found something extremely odd. He showed me pictures he had just taken of the inside of my eye, and he showed me how they was too swollen. I don't really understand the whole thing. I told him how bad my headaches can be and how sometimes my eye turns places and i would have to blink for it to get straight again. Ive never had eye problems, i wear glasses only to read.so should i be worried?
My daughters eyes don't turn in to follow the eye doctors finger from far away toward her nose.?
My daughter wears glasses but has been having trouble reading. She said she can't focus. The doctor said that when he holds his finger out and moves it slowly toward her nose, her eyes follow it for a minute, then break away, when they should cross and continue to follow his finger. He called the condition something but I don't recall what he said. He also mentioned that physical therapy to strenghten the muscles might help. Do you know what he might have called it?

I've never been to an actual eye doctor before, since I've always had normal eyesight in the past. Recently, I've been having trouble seeing things that are far away. I get headaches in class from trying to read the white boards. Everything about 20 feet away is blurry, now. I'm wondering if I need glasses or contacts so I made an appointment at an eye doctor.Anyway, I'm wondering what I should expect at my appointment. What tests will the eye doctor use? Is there anything I should do to prepare? Any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated. I will make sure to choose a best answer. Thanks in advance

well. i think i need to go because whenever i look at something for awhile my eyes start to see things really blurry until i blink again? is that normal? does that mean i need to get glasses? and if i go to the eye doctor what do they do? is it scary?

Today i just noticed that my eyesight has gone blurry. I never went to the eye doctor before, i know that you have to cover 1 eye and read the letters, but is there other steps? My friend told me that you have to put your eyes on this thing, then you tell the doctor if you see clearly or not. Help?
