Can I wear soft contacts over hard contacts?
...or vice versa?I normally wear hard contacts, but I bought colored soft contacts online for cosplaying. I want to be able to wear them both so I don't have to wear glasses or have to waste my colored soft contacts. I know you can wear hard contacts over hard contacts, because I've put two hard contacts in my eye on accident before, and it really doesn't affect me except visionwise. Also, my soft contacts came in these little bottles with liquid in it. What's that liquid and how do I get it. Is it just regular contact solution like the ones you also use for hard contacts? How long can I wear these soft contacts, and can they be reused?Serious answers, please. Best complete answer gets 10 points.
Besides knowing how many times I should wear them, how will I know when it's time to replace my soft contacts?
Will they feel funny or hurt on my eyes?
Switching from hard contacts to soft contacts?
I just got my contacts switched to soft ones, and they are bothering me very much. I see better without the new contacts I have astigmatism and my prescription is 3.00 it is very blurry and I'm very dizzy that I want to throw up. Did this ever happen to you? I got them with my daughter and she also has astigmatism but not as bad and she said hers weren't bothering her. It is a pain just to type on my computer, and I don't think I will be able to go to work on Monday because all I do is type and read papers.Please help they are really bothering me. Thank you Also, is there a transition period when you switch from the hard contacts to the soft?
How do I clean my soft contacts properly?

I can't wear soft contacts?
I've tried two different kinds of brands of soft contact lenses Pure Vision and Acuvue and both of them have ended up scratching my cornea. Apparently it's because my eyelids are very tight against my eyes, causing them to rub against it really hard. Does this happen to other people or is it just me? And what do I do? I really can't stand my glasses and I'm dying to get rid of them. Would these conditions not even allow me to use hard contacts? Or get lasik when I'm old enough?And are hard contacts really that bad? Even if I wore them everyday?

I accidentally fell asleep with my soft clear contacts on. I woke up at two in the morn and realized they were still on, so i tried to pinch them to take them out but that didn't work. Then I used my contact eye solution and put it in my eye to loosen up the contact & it didn't work. Its completely stuck to my eye the edges are unmoveable. I can't go to the ER or the eye specialist cause it's 2 and the morning and My mom is asleep so she can't take me anywhere. I'm so tired at this point I can bear staying awake. What do I do? Can I use soft contact solution for hard contacts just for tonight?
I didn't bring hard contact solution with me and I'm staying at my boyfriend's tonight. Is it okay to soak my hard contacts in soft contact solution over night? I'm planning to soak them in hard contact solution before I wear them because to my understanding soft contact solution does not do a good job cleaning hard contacts.

I bought a Bausch & Lomb saline solution and on the box it says to never use saline for soft contact lens disinfection...Why?And since I have soft contacts, what's the best solution for it? Changing from RGP lens to Soft contacts?
I have RGP lenses at the moment and my prescription given to me by my eye doctor is R 8.10 0.25 9.3L 8.15 3.50 9.3I really dislike using RGP lenses as I cannot get comfortable with them even after a year of using them... so my questions are 1 What does all the different numbers in my prescription mean?2 Would I be able to use Acuvue advance for astigmatism?3 My previous doc said I wouldn't be able to use soft contacts why is this?
