How to relieve dry, tired, red eyes?
I wear contacts so my eyes are put through a lot. Every once in a while some days they get red and feel dry and uncomfortable. Part of it could also be allergies...What should I do? And are there any non prescription eye drops that you recommend to for relief? for when I'm not wearing contacts thanks

last night I went to bed and my eyes were itchy so i rubbed them cos I can't not, but I woke up and they were all small stuck together and red and dry and red around them. It's still like it now, but stinging and a bit swollen, and keeps leaking. Im allergic to eyedrops, so is there anyway I can get rid of it quickly? How to stay awake after an allnighter and reduce red eyes?
I have problems sleeping so night time is my day time and day time is night.I never can get up to an alarm because once i fall asleep i sleep up to 25 hours. The thing is i have an important day tomorrow, my dog has got to be at the vets for 8am for an operation so i got to be up. So that means having to pull an allnighter which i really don't want to do because i'm so tired. down with flu also Coffee never seems to keep me awake infact it makes me feel horrible? I'm ok but once it hits 6am the tiredness starts to kick in. So are there any ways to help fight the tiredness?Also is there any ways to reduce red eyes? My eyes go blood shot and red and it looks like i'm on drugs and the looks i get makes me feel like some kind of druggie which i'm not. never taken drugs

Ok so, my eyes are ALWAYS red. It's so annoying and no I don't smoke. I hate it so much. Everyone always asks me are you high your eyes are so red. I been to the eyedoctor and he tells me to get refresh tears which don't do anything. They dont itch and I don't wear contacts. Could this be hereditary?? Eye pain, light sensitivity, red eyes, watery?
It started early yesterday and gradually got worse, my left eyes was watery and sensitive to outside light by night it was sensitive to even the lap top light and i couldn't look up. My eye was blood shot and very painful. By 3 in the morning I was ready to go to the ER very painful I couldn't even open it and there were barely any lights on in the area, I had a migrance because of it. Now it is back to how it was last night, can't look up, inside lights hurt it, very red and sensitive.What could it be, should I call the optometrist, I really don't want to. There is nothing in my eye, it has been flushed several times and I do not touch it, I have been avoiding all lights to keep it calm.

last wk was bit of excretion and i m feeling pain in my shoulder and hand because of water sports. but today i woke up and eyes was red and pain too and blurry vision. i hav no. 1 and 0.5 left and right eye. i rarely put my glasses and most of the time spend on gadgets. diet is average with glass of milk almost daily and some fruits or juice. is this serious prob. my age is 26. wht are the remedies ? right now its slightly blur with glasses and blur without glasses.

I already looked this question up, but no one answered the question correctly. My husband and I both have hazel eyes, He always gets red eyes in most of his pictures, and I have NEVER had red eyes in any picture, EVER. So what is the difference in our eyes that make it to where he gets red eyes and I dont? It is something with in his pupil thats different than mine? Im very curious to know the answer to this.
