I've been wearing glasses for 7 years, is it time to get prescription sunglasses?
I have never worn sunglasses because I'm wearing glasses, I don't go out that much but I've learned about the UV light and I'm scared to death right now, if I start wearing sun glasses will I go blind from the exposure of 20 years to UV light? also will I get a cataract?I'm 20 years oldI always liked the sun and my eyes never hurt because of the sun and I thought it was healthy but now about the UV light I'm not sure...I'm not doing it for the looks read the details

I have eye glasses for my myopia but I need to buy sunglasses too, I will have to search for prescription sunglasses, but I don't really like to switch my glasses every time I enter a place or something, I would like to wear the current glasses when I'm home studying and the sunglasses when I'm outcan the transition prescription sunglasses block all the harmful rays the same way as normal sunglasses?

My mom found a pair of Wayfarer Ray Ban's at her work and no one claimed them for over a week. She gave them to me today and I realized the lens is prescription because the vision through the lens look like a " fish eye" photo or something. My question is can I replace the prescription lens with a regular lens? If so, where can I go to do so?

My prescription is as follows.pl 1.25 x 155 add 150pl .75 x 005 add 150I spend upwards of 8 hours a day working on Computers and so the " add 150" really helps. I can walk around drive without glasses without observing a noticeable loss of vision.I am looking at distant vision prescription sun glasses and they look very expensive. Do I really need to have a prescription sunglass if all I am using them are for very sunny days and at the beach. And I wouldn't care for the " add 150" part then . Is there any long term side effects for not wearing prescription glasses all the time?

or can I buy sunglasses from anywhere...for example, Macys. Then take them to my eye dr and they will put in their own prescription frames? Or is it cheaper to just get them at the eye dr place? I'm new to glasses, thanks well do they sell just frames at macys? where do they sell JUST frames?

Is it normal to feel nauseous and unbalanced in new prescription sunglasses even after a week?
I've had a slight change to the prescription in my left eye from 1.00 to 1.25 and no change in my right. I bought sunglasses frames and put polarized lenses in them, tinted them and have an anti reflective coating on them. I use sunglasses prescription 80 % of the time but have not had polarized or coated ones before. I have had no problems with minor prescription changes before. I have gone back to the optometrist 3 times and they have redone my eye test ok, and heated the bridge of the frame to flatten the front make them less wrap around . This has helped a little but i'm still very off balanced like vertigo when wearing them and the ground a few metres in front of me looks a bit higher, the horizon curved a little, i have eyestrain, and the nausea and headaches lasts for hours afterwards. Driving is a little scary. What can i do?To add to above Yes, the optometrist checked my the prescription in the glasses then redid the eye test and both are correct.I apparently last time in my old glasses which by the way feel fine to wear I had an astigmatism but not this time around.They just keep blaming it on my frames being curved. But i have had very curved wrap around style sunglasses a few years ago. My last sunglasses were quite flat.
