Do i have to go to the doctor for pink eye?
I so i got pink eye last night and I was just wondering if i have to go to the doctor? Or is there anything at Wal Mart that will help or if It will go away by it's self?
What to do about pink eye?
I just got pink eye yesterday, but started taking drops around 11 o'clock this morning. How long should I be out of school? I stayed home today, but my mom is not sure if I should go in tomorrow. We have a half day tomorrow that only goes til around 11 30. Should I go tomorrow, or am I still contagious?

So I have pink eye and i have had it since around Wednesday evening and My doctor prescribed Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment for me and i have been using it since last night at about 7pm and yes I know Its not going to heal right away but i was wondering if anybody knows how long it normally takes when you use that stuff to heal your pink eye? My boyfriends has pink eye, and it changed his eye color.?

My friend had it a week ago. She was over my house, but we didn't think it was pinkeye because her doctor said it was due to her being hit in the eye the previous a day. She went back due to it getting worse, & it turns out it was pinkeye. Now, this morning, I wake up to a puffy left eye. My other eye isn't infected. Last night, it felt like there was an eyelash in it & I that's how it starts from what my friend said. If I get medicine now, would that clear it up quicker?

I just got over a head cold, I had been waking up with slight crust on my eye but nothing huge so I let it pass. Then I woke up this morning with one red eye, and it has a little discharge. Bacterial or viral? And how long should it last? I can't goto the doc because I'm between changing and don't have one atm.Its not painful at all.

So, here are my symptoms ive looked aroudn the internet, and yahoo answers sometimes have doctors or nurses to come on, i just want your honest oppinion 1 after waking up i cant open my right eye because its stuck together so i have to sorta pull them apart2 Red eyes Both eyes, 3 alot of eye crusties4 When i woke up, i saw some Weird fluidy stuff that sorta looked like snot5 My eye is itchy but i dont want to itch it, because i dont want to spread the infection if i do ahve it 6 the area outside of my eyes is pretty red, but only my right eye. 7 i have alot of eye crust around both eyes, on my eye lashes, eye lids, etc.Also, should i go to a doctor to get it checked out? I mean, I dont even think i can because my doctor's office is closed wednsday sunday and saturday. So id have to wait till monday...Thanks in advancedps, any medication i can take for it to clear up faster? I really hate missing school
How much does pink eye meds cost now?
My fiance went to the doctor today, the visit cost was standard but the pink eye medicine was over 200. He gave him two types since he couldn't tell which pink eye he had. We don't have insurance. Years back when I got it was less then 40, Mabey 20. My mother said this is right that it did go up that much even for all generic. Is this true?
Why am I always getting a pink eye?
I have to use Terramycin all the time. I know how to treat it, but I just want to know why anything that goes inside my eye, makes it irritate. I didn't use to have this problem. I don't know why my eye suddenly gets infected for anything. Any suggestions before I visit the doctor? Reasons why.Good info on the first comment, but I'm always washing my hands. Anything else?
How long does the redness of pink eye last?
It started three days ago on Friday. I had lots of yellow discharge, redness, lid swelling, but no pain. Now the discharge and swelling are gone, but my eyes are still red. How long will it last? My eyes didn't itch the first two days, when the discharge was the worst, but they itch a little now. Is that a good sign or bad?I went to the doctor on Friday. She said it was related to the cold sinus infection I've had for a week, and gave me an oral antibiotic.The lid swelling and yellow discharge sound bacterial, but the excessive tearing and recent cold sound viral. How bad is my pink eye?
Yesterday night I felt my eye start to hurt a bit and it looked a bit swollen. This morning My eye is still a bit swollen not really noticeable and its a tiny bit pink on the inside. There was only a drop of discharge this morning and right now my eye hurts a bit when I blink and itll get a little bit itchy every now and than. I had pink eye last month too but it was more serious.do you think itll get worse and do you think itll be better tomorrow? i started taking care of yesterday and have not touched it at all. today im going to take extra care of it. thanks
Pink eye persisting even after treatment?
I had pink eye about 8 9 days ago. Saw a doctor and started using the prescribed drops 7 days ago. It cleared up pretty quick, forgot the drops at home when I was at work one day and now it has come back but worse. More pain in that eye and it's kind of blurry can't stop blinking, had to actually hold my eye open for a lot of a drive home last night. Should I be going back to a doctor considering it doesn't appear that the drops are doing anything now?
Pink eye in both eyes (and I wear contacts)?
I had pink eye in my left eye so I took that contact out, but I just woke up to my right eye crusted shut. Now what am I supposed to do? My prescription is very strong 9.50PWR so I absolutely cannot see without them and I don't have glasses.
