Seeing little specks moving in peripheral vision?
I woke up today, got up, and looked down. Strangely, all these weird specks came out of nowhere are were moving around my peripheral vision. I don't get why this happened, but also lately, I keep getting these weird very small dots of light just appear out of nowhere during the day in my vision too, my vision however isn't deteriorating and I have no problems with my eyes whatsoever. Is there anything to worry about? It was really strange, but the moving specks only lasted about 3 seconds. They weren't floaters. About 20 of them came out and they were much smaller, and moved more erratically than floaters. I wasn't even moving my eyes as they were moving too so they couldn't have been floaters.
Blurred peripheral vision...?
This morning while i was watching T.V. i began to have blurred vision in the side of my eyes. I waited about 5 minutes, stood up and walked around, and the vision remained the same. When i walked upstairs my head began to feel slightly foggy so i laid down for about 5 minutes and put eye drops in my eyes and took big breaths. Does anyone know what could cause this?
Could you regain lost peripheral vision?
Since Thursday of last week my peripheral vision decreased overnight. I don't know what may have caused it, I just realized yesterday that what I had was a loss in my peripheral vision. I am going to schedule an appointment with an Ophthalmologist today. I'm only 15 and I'm really worried about my vision. I mean this happened overnight. So is it possible to regain peripheral vision?I could see things on the sides of my eye, but it's like if my eyes aren't really 'focused' on peripheral vision. The only more 'focused' part of my eyes are is right in the center of my eyesight. I used to see things clearly around the center of my eyesight, but now it seems more vague.
Why is peripheral vision blurry?
I have a few questions about vision and the eye that I'm trying to understand the answers to 1. Why is periferal vision blurry? Is it simply because there aren't any cones in this area of our visual field, or is it because light isn't actually focused there by the cornea and lens?2. Why isn't the fovea aligned with the optical axis of the eye, but rather at an angle to it?3. Why does the optic nerve create a blind spot? Is there any reason why the retina doesn't extend over to cover the surface of the optic nerve?Thank you so much, I really appreciate your answers
Wavy like peripheral vision + mild headache?
Okay so today after work, my peripheral vision in my right eye was completely messed up for like 30 minutes. It started when I was reading a book... I couldn't focus on the words and when I tried my eyes would like shake. At first it was just a tiny spot through my right eye... it was like just a blank swimmy blind spot that would block out parts of words while I was reading. Then it got worse and I couldn't see anything to my right when looking straight ahead.... I did the finger test.. Where you move your finger around your head and stop when you can see it. My hand was almost directly in front of my line of sight before I could see it. It really freaked me out. My mom stood beside me and I looked straight ahead... I couldn't see her face at all. It wasn't black. It was just blank. I had a small headache at the time, but nothing major. Anyway, my mom told me to lie down for a little while and rest my eyes. After a while, it went away. The headache did too, but it came back. My vision seems okay at the moment.. maybe a little strained, but no blind spots that I can see. Can this just be caused by stress? Or could there be an underlying issue? Thank you.
Vision: rainbow swirly circles and left peripheral vision is gone? What's going on?
I can't see a doctor for a week and some already have an emergency appointment because I had pnemonia and had to go to the ER for it and all of a sudden as I was stepping onto the bus THIS. I don't understand. Is this serious? I'm only on antibiotics. No drugs, etc. Even when I shut my eyes the rainbow circles are still there.Okay. Thank god it stopped and my peripheral vision is back. What was that?
Seeing person in peripheral vision?
This has been happening every once in a while lately. I'll be doing something and I'll see a man in my peripheral vision. He doesn't look happy, he looks upset or angry. He's in a suit and I mostly see his waist up like if you look at a person walking towards you . His body is a greyish black silhouette and he slowly walks towards me. When I look in the person's direction he goes away. But sometimes when I go back to what I'm doing the " person" starts walking towards me again. I don't have problems with my vision. What is this? Why is this happening?Very detailed half assed answers. 10 10. A
Large dark spots in peripheral vision. Normal?
Basically, when I look left or right too far, I see two large, dark circles. I can't remember if I've always had it, but I've noticed it for about a years now. When I close one eye and look, I only see one spot, so obviously each eye sees a spot each. Any ideas?
Loss of peripheral vision?
Today I was seeing fine until about an hour ago, I was readin a comment on a youtube video when i realized I have a hard time reading the first two letters of words. I can read fine when reading word for word, but when reading groups of words at a time it gets difficult. I did a few experiments and im haveing a hard time seeing things with the left side of my peripheral vision in both eyes. Im age 15 and I don't wear glasses. Any advice?
Why do I focus on my peripheral vision so much?
Like, if I'm working on my work in class and a person walks by, I can't help it, but my brain focuses on everything but what I'm looking at. Why do you think this is? It's weird, I know. Do you focus on your peripheral or just ignore it. I want to learn how to ignore it
Bright yellow circles in my peripheral vision?
I am a 23 year old female. I started having bright yellow cherio shapes in my peripheral vision randomly a few years ago. I find it mostly happens when I go from brighter light to darker light, but that isn't always the case. I had multiple eye doctors poke at my eyes and run tests and nothing was found to be wrong. They said it was probably the " jelly" behind my eyes becoming loose. The spots went away for about a year, but they have been back all week about ten times a day. I am freaking out that it could be the sign of a fatal disease or blindness Someone help me come up with an answer please or please let there be someone else out there with this problem. If it is my " jelly" does anyone know if that can make me go blind? Thank you all

Peripheral vision is blue?
About 2 months ago, i had been doing my homeowrk, and i had a piece of paper off to my right, and i noticed in my peripheral vision, it had a blue tint, but when i looked at it straight on, it as normal, i googled it but found nothing so i thought nothing of it. a month ago, i had my hands out to my sides, and in my peripheral they were blue. Today, i went for a run, and i noticed my nose looked blueish, i asked my running buddies, but they both said it was normal. I was convinced my nose was blue, so when we met up with some guys, i asked them, but they said it wasn't blue. i went to touch where my nose looked blue, and i notuced my fingers looked blue also, but only in the area my nose was blue. so my peripheral and my vision between my eyes, things are occassionally tinted blue. any explanation for thiss?
