For the optometrist/ophthalmologists out there?
I am doing an advocacy project for school and I've decided that I want to base it on the " Infant see" program. What I am unaware of is how parents find out about this program and what it entails. I have found some information about it but I want to know from a caregiver's perspective what it's all about. Also if you have any suggestions on what aspect to advocate for that would be great Thanks for your help

Should I go to my regular doctor or a optometrist/ophthalmologist?
So lately I noticed that my eyesight is blurry. I covered my right eye and my left eye is fine. But, when I cover my left eye my right eye can only see up close, and far away objects are blurry. I recently noticed this, and it really bothers me. My mom is convinced that I should wait for my annual check up and they will recommend me. What should I do tell her?Money is defiantly not an issue. When I talked to her about she said why are scheduling a physical. They usually do an eye test . And they would recommend me to a eye doctor. I really don't want to wait that long.

The difference between optometrist, ophthalmologist and optician?
But timssterling, what is MD?

Differentiate optometrist, ophthalmologist and optician.?
There is a raging debate among the members of my clique as to the job of each.

Should I go to my regular doctor or a optometrist/ophthalmologist?
On Saturday I noticed that the vision in my right eye was much fuzzier than my left. I thought I was just nearsighted and hadn't noticed before. However, today I've been experiencing " floaters" in my eye. I've had about 5 show up since I woke up about 5 hours I can only see them 1 3 seconds and then it disappears out of my eyesight. It's like a fuzzy dark spot in my vision that moves around. Are those " floaters" ? Is it cause for concern? It's really freaking me out So, should I go to a regular doctor? Opthalmologist? Optometrist? If I go to a place like the optical center in Costco, will they be able to figure out what's wrong with my eye? Or do I need a more specialized place?

What are the differences between optometrists, ophthalmologists, and MDs?
