Where can I get an eye exam for contacts beside in the optometrist office?
I just started working at an optometrist office, and I do the basic eye exams before you see the doctor..?
the auto, field and NCT the dreaded puff of air . I've got the first two ones down like there is no tomorrow, now the NCT IT IS GIVING ME HELL If anyone out there works for or has worked for or is and optometrist, pleeeease give me some tips. I know most of it is nerves, and I have only really been trying to do the NCT today, so I know it will take some more time, Ijust get really frustrated with it

I have a chalazion, I have read about it and I am 100 % sure that is what I have. It started out as a stye and is now a chalazion. My mom is making me go the the optometrist's and I am terrified. What will they do? Please give me all the details. i will feel better going atleast if I know what it is like. Tell me exactly what happenes please. Thank you
Why am i seeing double at the optometrists office?
I have had myopia since I was 9, and always had glasses since then. Steadily the sight is getting bad and a few months ago i went to a uni optometry clinic to get a new script. They put those heavy frames on and I was seeing double vision which is very unusual for me.I had a retinal detachment fixed in april last year, with a scleral buckle and gas bubble. I still get floaters and flashes, but Ive only ever had mild double vision when im tired..like everyone else.With the current glasses I have on now, I see relatively ok, in that i cant see distance things well, and even now close things at times are blurry, but not double. So my question is, why am i seeing double when i am at the optometrist wearing those heavy black frames when they fill in teh script. I need to get a new pair coz my driving instructor thinks my driving is being affected by my vision even though i think its me being uncordinated. I dont want to get prisms put in my glasses.
