If I went to the optician today to have my crooked glasses straightened, would they be able to do so?

I'm 15 and never headaches and have never had any problems with my vision until quite recently,lately, when i am at school either my head or the backs of my eyes begin to ache, it isn't painful and anything, just a dull ache and i have been getting this at least once a day and i think it is only when i am in lessons that involve looking at the board and reading as i am fine in pe. i also am finding that my eyes sort of need to adjust for a fraction of a second longer to read a word than usual and sometimes my eyes go a bit weird for a second. my mum says its because i don't get enough sleep and am on my computer too much but i go to bed earlier than most of the people my age and do not spend more time on my computer than other friends and people my age. i feel as though something is not right but i can still see fine and am not actually in pain so i am quite confused as to what i should do, any suggestions?
Can an optician see all of the eyes when putting eye drops in to make the pupil open up, can they then see any?

I saw some cool Randolph Engineering sunglasses at GoodWill the other day, but they had bifocal lenses in them. They're normally like 200 bucks, so I got em $2 and looked up replacement lenses on RE's website. 30 dollars. And the site says their lenses can hold a prescription no sweat, you just have to get 'em ground down by an optician. I talked briefly to an optician today and I think he was either retarded, or my story is incredibly confusing because he didn't give me any kind of coherent answer. So, here is my question Can I buy Glass lenses online, then take them to an optician to get turned into my prescription? which is light by the way Or do they make a shit ton of money on mark up, so they'll give me crap about not buying their lens?

I used my nickname as my forename when registering at the opticians. Now I am going for the 2nd eye test there, this is going to cause me problems as I am going to get my lenses else where and my names wont match up Will the opticians let me change my first name to my ''real'' name? for my 2nd eye appointment?I feel like an idiot.

Why would the optician think I was faking my sight when I wasn't?
I have pretty bad eye sight... I wouldn't say the worse ever but it becomes hard for me to see, everything is blurry b ut when I tried my cousin's glasses everything looked so sharp and clear, colorful.... so I decided to make an appointment for the optician to get a test to see if I needed glasses.. she did that letter test at first it was all good but little by little it was harder to see the letters and she was looking at me like if I was crazy. She was kind of rude the whole time. She jsut gave me eye drops and told me to lay off the computer.... I didn't need any glasses? I know my body pretty well and I know I can't see that well and it gets worse day by day.... was she wrong doing this? I don't see why she would think I was faking anything knowing that there's no benefit in trying to get prescribed glasses if the sight is fine since they will just make your sight worsen...
I'm scared the optician will tell me i have a tumour?
ok , so about 3 or 4 weeks ago i was lying in bed and randomly closed my right and left eye one at a time and noticed vision in the left eye was a bit darker s so of course i freaked out and for a lot of the night was blinking and staring out of the left eye at my wall and so on, the next day i started getting a dull aching pain behind my left eye which hasnt left me alone since then yesterday i started getting a cold and combined with the eye ache i began to get very scared...i didnt eat all day and barely drank, in the the end i asked work if i could leave early to go to the walk in centre, when i got there and saw the gp i explained what id done a few weeks previously and he did an eye test on me...he made me do the reading the letters off the board thing and with my left eye i didnt get so far down as my right eye, he then looked into my eyes with a light which i found very uncomfortable..especially in the left eye and he said he thought i needed glasses and to go to the opticians. so when i got home of course my mind went into over drive...and i started google researching about opticians that find brain tumours etc and combined with not eating and being tired i started to feel paniced and so with the pain in behind the started crying and heaving which made me then throw up so i havent slept properly again and feel worse today and am nervous about going to the opticians to be told i have a terminal malignant disease. what does everyone think? Also the pain started after i started my first job so i dont know if its...stress or lyme disease ms tumour?please help metony mac, i did go to the doctor
From these symptoms should I see a optician?
Recently i've been getting regular headaches especially at college where i strain to see the board, It's not that my vision is really blured from what i can tell but after seeing a list of symptoms online I also noticed the following, Headaches, excessive blinking, eye strain, Watering eyes, worse vision at night and seeing floating 'lines'. Do you think it would be good to visit a Optician. Also am i still eligible for a free check prescription glasses, I am 16 and in full time education at College.

Does anyone else wonder if opticians ever have to deal with more sexual harassment claims than any one else? I mean especially if they have to form an eye exam on an underage girl or boy , they shut the door in a dark room and they're the only ones in there for 10 minutes..Maybe its just me , anyone else wonder ? i'd like to know your thoughts on this Not just opticians any one answer Hmm everyone elses opticians seem to bring witness' in with them , none of my opticians ever bring witness' in
