I went to the opthamologist to get my eyes checked because i was having trouble focusing and getting migraines?
focusing and getting migraine headaches. He said my prescription changed from a 1.50 to .50. does that mean the glasses I have been wearing were now to strong?
Opthamologist sending me to neuro opthamologist?
I'm 24 years old 10 days ago I woke up and my vision went blurry, as the day goes on it gets worse and worse. I went to an optometrist which referred me to and opthamologist, he ran tests and found some swelling behind my eyes. Ran an MRI on me and said he can't pinpoint what the problem is and is sending me to a Neuro Opthamologist this week. Is it normal for someone my age to be having these problems and the doctor i'm going to is 3 hours away should I plan on staying there?
If i get a regular doctor to refer to me an opthamologist would it be cheaper than going straight to an optham?
ologist? I heard you get a discount if you go through a regular doctor. Is that true?

I have been having problems with my vision particularly my left eye along with headaches on that side of my head. He referred me to a neurologist who performed an evoked potential test which indicated a lesion in the left chasim of my optical nerve. At my last appt. have had 3 my eye dr. told me to go see this neuro opthamologist asap to determine if a lesion they found behind my left eye is benign or not Any info or resources would be greatly appreciated.

i went to an opthamologist on Wednesday. and got both eyes dilated but with two different eye drops because after she put the eye drops in the left eye there was no more so she used another eye drop for my right eye. same night my left eye got back to normal while the right eye still dilated and blurring. i called her next day and she said don't worry it will be down by tonight thursday also she said that the eye drop she put should go away after 24 hours. anyway until today saturday " three days since dilation" it still dilated it's not big as it was second day it's a little better but still not back to normal. i am very worried and i am always shaking. please any suggestions or whats going on. or what could it be. i just want to know if i should be woried and what's the worst case scenario. it would be better if you are an opthamologist. thank you

my 1 year old has an appointment at the opthamologist in a couple of weeks for her lazy eye and im really nervous does anyone know what they will do or want to do i just kinda want to be prepared for what they say

I thought I had something stuck in my eye last night, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw that it was scratched & that some of the white part of my eye kept folding lifting up when I blinked. It only hurt enough for Aleve, but it did keep me from sleeping b c it kept scratching my eyelid.I did finally get to sleep around 3am, and I feel okay now. The white part sclera? doesn't move when I blink, and it is a lot less scratchy. It doesn't hurt either.Do I need to go to the dr still? If so, will a GP be okay or should I see an opthamologist?

Why would my neuro opthamologist ask me to come back to talk to him? He told me not to worry and enjoy the holidays and sent me a follow up letter that didn't reference much. I was referred to neuro opthamologist due to blurred vision, headaches and an abnormal EPV. He performed all kinds of weird tests on my eyes and said, " So they're looking for a pituitary tumor?" I never heard anyone mention that until he said it. I also am having problems with abnormally low ACTH and cortisol which I am being treated with cortef steroid . Help me understand what I am dealing with here and what I may expect?

I went to the Optometrist today and she says I may have lazy eye in my left eye, due to the fact that it cannot be corrected to 20 20 vision. She dilated my eyes to make sure, and still continued to get the same results. I kind of agree that I may have it, because when I try to focus on something with my left eye it kind of goes out of place like moves to the left and I cannot focus and have trouble reading the letters she gives me. I got a referral letter to go to an Opthamologist to get some testing to see if I may either have lazy eye or astigmatism.What is the average cost for this visit? I live in Lake Orion, Michigan and the Opthamologist I think will be in Troy.If it matters, I also have a thicker cornea than usual. I have been to an opthamologist quite a few years ago to test for Glaucoma and found out I just had thick corneas.And apparently patching the eye is useless after the age of 9? FML? Do I have to get surgery now? If I do, I'm screwed, because my insurance won't cover it

my son seems to have an eye condition and needs to see an opthamologist and i have insurance but i have a high deductible insurance so i would like to have an idea oh how much i would be spending.
