Do novelty contact lenses damage your eyes?
I really want novelty contact lenses but my mum says they wreck your eyes is this true?I forgot to mention they are not from the optition

Novelty Contact lenses with RX?
I wear Acuvue Oasys contact lenses BC 8.4 Diam 14.0.I am looking into novelty contact lenses for a costume at conventions. Coastal Contacts offers FDA approved novelty lenses with RX. However, the BC and Diam don't match up. The closest match is BC 8.6 Diam 14.5.My question is this if I wear these novelty lenses for no more than 6 hours, can I damage my eyes? I would like to find lenses in my exact size, but I can't find a manufacturer.Thanks.
