Is there any vegetable/fruit that helps your night vision?
Im curious. My night vision sucks just as bad as my regular vision does. . .
Can a daily vitamin with extra vitamin A help improve night vision after several retinal detachments?
i've been doing some research and apparently a multi vitamin that includes zinc plus an extra dose of vitamin A can improve night vision. is that right?if so do you think it could improve MY night vision even by a little bit after having 2 retinal detachments in my right eye. cannot see out of the left eye so i cannot just have that eye help compensate at night oldtimekid2 i'm not trying to " overcome" a retinal detachment. i've had a retinal detachment twice in my right eye and it has been fixed. i know you can't " overcome" a retinal detachment with vitamins. it requires surgery which i've had. i'm also not looking for vitamins to prevent further retinal detachments. i already know what is causing the retinal detachments. its cuz i have coloboma. all i'm asking is if vitamin A will help improve night vision that was worsened as a result of retinal detachments.i'd like to clarify that my retinal detachments were in no way caused by a vitamin deficiency i don't even know if its possible for a retina to detach due to a vitamin deficieny . my retinal detachments were caused by being born with coloboma.

I'm looking for glasses that might increase my ability to see in the dark and just over all. And I have great eye sight already, its just I think they would cool to have as well as useful.

Question about night vision goggles!?
My dad is basically legally blind. He has had the disease since he was a small kid. The disease is progressing fast now and the main time he is blind is at night. It breaks my heart to see the man I love the most suffer and not be able to drive at night, because he can't see. It is hard for him to even go outside when it is dark. He use to be a mechanic, but he got laid off because of his vision,of course they couldn't admit that, but it is pretty much apparent. He has previously tried on some night vision goggles just for the fun of it , but I think they may have really helped him a little bit just to be able to enjoy going out and seeing something he normally couldn't see. What kind of goggles do you think might would be the best. I really would like to save up any money I can to get him some one day Thanks for any and all suggestions Thanks you guys

I have decided to get laser eye surgery in a little over a year. I need to know if having it done will affect my night vision. I can't have my night vision negatively affected.

Poor Night Vision: Do I have any options?
Is there anything that can be done for an individual with terrible night vision? I have 20 20 vision in daylight, however, at night time especially when driving my sense of depth perception is awful and I constantly find myself straining to even see where the lines are. Obviously, I try to limit my night time driving for these reasons. Are there any other options?
