Sudden loss of vision! need Immediate help!?
My besfriend sean just went out for a cigarette with me, while we were out there his eye started to hurt. When we got back inside he had totally lost his vision in his left eye. What could be wrong? Please don't say go to the doc because if he still can't see out of it tomorrow, he is. appreciate any suggestions< 3He doesn't wanna go to the doctor tonight, stubborn guy thing go figure. But there was nothing that got in his eye that he's aware of it was alll very sudden. Blurry and partial loss of vision in one eye after getting hit, should i be worried?
i was playing soccer 2 days ago when i got hit on the right side of the face really hard, i heard a ringing noise for like 10 mins and my vision in my right eye was really blurry and there was like a black blur. i was really dizzy and had to sit down. I was still dizzy yesterday and had a headache but today im not dizzy anymore i can barely see the black blur anymore but my vision is still a little blurry, should i be worried? what is wrong with my eye, was it just a concussion?
If I suffer from Neuropathy and loss of vision, can I sue the hospital that won't treat me? It's an emergency!?
I have nerve damage and loss of vision and they won't diagnose to let me know what it is due to no medicaid or health insurance. I tried numerous times to apply but got turned down due to high blood pressure and my weight. I went to a few free clinics and they told me I'm not diabetic or hypoglycemic but they did confirm the nerve damage in my hands and feet and loss of vision. So can't I sue the hospitals for not treating me or atleast find out what it is? Obviously it's a rare condition and they won't do the necessary tests to find the cause. So what can I do? Suffer with extreme pain for the rest of my life or wait and die? I'm a 28 year old male in Bryant Arkansas so if anybody has any helpful advice I'd appreciate it.
Migraine Caused loss of vision, permanent?
Hello,Migraines run in my family, and I used to get them too a lot.. I have prescription migraine medicine and that always helps, and sometimes I'd get blurred vision with my migraines. I haven't had any for almost 5 months, until this past week, I had 3, which I treated all with my medicine but one of them was really bad and made my vision go super bad. That migraine went away and I woke up in the morning, and I could see far away just fine i do have slight astigmatism BUT, wehn I looked at anything close, phone, computer, magazine, I CANNOT see ANYTHING. It looks like big blurs. I can't even make out anything of the buttons on my phone The only way I can see is if I hold the object arms length from my eyes, which is SO inconvient and I cant type with my computer or phone that far away. And if I set it back further it goes blurry again. I can only see in the middle of close and far.this has been going on for about a week now and I haven't had another migraine, so it's scaring me. The only way I can even see this screen is by using my astigmatism glasses, which still dont help too too much. It's still fuzzy. I'm going to go to my eye doctor tomorrow, but i'm so afraid the migraine caused this and it will be permanent. I also set up an appointent with my regular dr, to see if its neurological. This is worrying me greatly, so on everyones opinion and knowledge, can bad migraines cause permanent eye damage, and make you loose your vision? Will it ever go away? Because after a week I was sure it would be gone but NO. I can t function at al without seeing my phone and being able to read see things. So..any advice?
Why did I have loss of vision for a while after trying a tampon?
First time trying tampon. Hurt. Was in for about 10 minutes. Took it out. Went have a shower and put my finger in to see where to put the tampon. shower was all steamy, maybe that was why? . I started to lose vision a bit this has hapened after cervical cancer injections for me and then when it got all black i had to lie down to get vision back. I haven't been eating iron or protein much, I've been mostly on a weet bix diet to lose weight. im 13 years old. Could i have TSS? it wasnt even in for an hour

What are blackouts loss of vision and impaired balance symptoms of?
every now and then im just walking or standing up and i without warning first experiance darkening vision eventualy temporary complete loss of vison followed by impared balance sometimes resulting in falling down and other times just very wabbly and loss of corrdanation. most times it is a complete blackout and doesnt useually last more than 5 15 sec.. any one know what these are symtoms of and if its fatal or if i need to see the doctor??
Dizziness, loss of vision/balance after standing up?
when i stand up, i feel unsteady and my vision is clouded or gone. i have to sit back down to prevent falling over sometimes i have to sit down more than once.this used to just happen when i first got up in the morning, but now it's every time i stand. even when i stretch my back while sitting, i get dizzy and my vision gets fuzzy. i've tried eating more sugar salt in case this is a low blood sugar low blood pressure issue, but it doesn't seem to have helped..any ideas as to what this is? female, 18

Sudden loss of vision, balance?
Twice in the last two days, i've had a moment in which my vision gets fuzzy, and fades to black. i lack balance and my knees go weak, i haven't fallen. just struggled to stand, knees wobbling with no vision. for 10 15 seconds... whats up with this?
I've been having werid episodes: loss of vision, migraines, numbness?
Last week while driving my sister somewhere I started to see black dots, like when you look at something bright for too long and then you try and look at something but you can't see it clearly. I drove myself home cause it was starting to creep me out. When I got home my left eye started feeling numb, I would touch it but I couldn't feel it. I also felt like someone slipped me something and i was REALLY extremely high. Everything was going super fast, like chipmunk mode. Followed by a very bad headacheI took an advil and lied down and it went away after about 30 mins.Well yesterday it happened again. So my boyfriend took me to the ER where they took my blood pressure and it was high, they gave me an IV with pain meds for my INTENSE migraine the worst one I have ever had And let me go.Today I woke up with the same headache that just won't go away, I don't know what to do with myself it hurts so badly. I haven't done any drugs or drank any alcohol in over two years.These episodes just started happening recently, but I have headaches all the time they are just NEVER this bad. Ever.What the heck could this be???? They didn't really give me any answers at all.
Severe headache, temporary loss of vision, vomiting and extreme confusion where I forget nouns?
I know that you cannot properly diagnose me, but when I went to the doctor today she said it was most likely just an ear infection... I have never seen an ear infection cause all of these things. I'm only 18, so it's not Alzheimer's or anything like that. I've been pretty hydrated and such. Have you or anyone you know had this, and how did they cure it? It has happened 3 4 times since the middle of April 2011. Thank you in advance.
Dizziness/Loss of vision when getting up quickly...?
It's been happening for a few years, and I wasn't sure if it was normal or not, but I'll ask anyways.Usually at least 1 once a day now, I'll be sitting down somewhere or lying down, and when I get up I start to feel dizzy, and my vision slowly fades out, ranging from a few black spots to complete darkness for multiple seconds, where I have to stand still so I don't fall hit anything.Sometimes I can 'feel' it coming, like I'll get up, start to get lightheaded, and then just close my eyes stop moving ahead of time, before I lose vision completely. Anyway, any advice is welcomed, thanks ejse, It wasn't nearly so often, normally a couple times a week, but recently I've been noticing just about once a day. And thank you Skittles I'll ask my Mom and see if I can get checked out soon.
Help! Loss of vision/lightheadedness.?
This doesn't happen everyday but it is kind of often. Sometimes when I get up or just randomly I lose vision not complete vision. but most of my vision goes black and it's odd. and I feel lightheaded or dizzy. It goes away after a few seconds, like 3 or 4. I'm 13, female.
