Can i have lasik eye surgery?
i want to know if my eyesight isnt correctable with glasses or anything can i still have lasik eye surgery because i really need it. im leagally blind in my left eye and ive come to realize if this procedue doesnt work i have no shot of joining the marines. by the way when i say leagally blind i can still see out of it i just have bad eye sight. oh and i have astigmatism.
Is it ok? to lasik eye surgery in Vasan?

jus wondering coz m using it from the next day itself but it dsnt feels i hv got done somthng in my eyes ,i have a good vision immediately after the surgery but it hurt a bit for som time time but like after 2 3 hrs its all gr8 i took rest on tht day n night but i really dont know if using computer does any harm i hv dry eyes sometimes..

My eyes hurt constantly after getting lasik eye surgery? Why? What is happening?
My perscription was 3 and 3.5 I got lasik done and after a few months my eyes began to hurt all the time. I try not to think about it but its always there. It kinda feels like when you purposely cross your eyes, that kind of pain. I went back to where I got the lasik done and they ran every test possible and couldnt find anything wrong. I even paid 1600 dollars for a MRI, I dont have insurance. Has this happened to anyone else? I pray someday there is something I can do to stop the pain.I am 31. I don't think it is dry eye because when it started I was using the artificial pure tears like 10 times a day. One thing I remember is the MRI showed what the doctor thought were sists in my sinus. I guess that could have been something else maybe...I also remember that when I went back to get things rechecked the doctor used an eye drop to make my eye numb and the pain disappeared so that leads me to believe that it is definitely in my eye.
Questions about lasik surgery?
My vision is 20 20, but I'm slightly near sighted. I can see pretty well during the day, but when there's little light out, or I'm trying to read something from far away, my glasses are a life saver. My eye dr. says I'd be a good candidate for lasik. My questions are...1 What's the best age to get the surgery? I'm 23....are my eyes done changing shape by now? Or should I wait a few years? I just got glasses for the first time a year ago. I would hate to pay all that money then have bad vision again a few years later.2 what's the best vision I can have? Again, I currently have 20 20...... can they bring my vision up to 20 15? can it go even better?3 and the age old question how safe is it? I don't want to end up blind. it's a personal choice...if it's safe and a good route, then why not? Although my vision is good, everything becomes CRYSTAL CLEAR with my glasses. it helps me see the writing on the wall during school lectures, helps me see signs from far away when i'm driving especially at night and, most importantly, it's a convenience thing....I always forget my glasses at home...then I'm not as comfortable driving at night etc. It's only 4,000....which is a lot, but it really isn't when talking about vision.harley That's what I thought too....How could I possibly have 20 20 vision if the eye dr said I'm slightly near sighted...it doesn't make sense to me either But that's what they told me...harley I think i'm making it out worse than it is... I can see fine without glasses, and from a normal length away....my vision is fine. But when I put my glasses on, it feels like I have superman vision...everything is much more crisp in color, I can read signs ridiculously far away....it just makes life more beautiful. if i forget my glasses, I can get by fine.....but when i have them on, again, it feels like super powers since my eye sight is just awesome
Will lasik eye surgery fix me?
My vision is around 20 400 in both eyes, and I have though about the military pilot career. What are the chances I will get 20 20 after surgery, what are the odds it will totally screw my eyes up and make them worse?
Failed lasik eye surgery?
I had the procedure done back in july of 10' as a graduation present high school and I was so happy I could see clearly without the need of glasses. Just after six months I notice a slight decrease in my vision. Now I can definitely tell that my eyesight has gotten worse because I can't see that well when i'm driving especially during the day and its harder for me to concentrate if i'm playing video games but its not as bad as before I got my lasik. Is it possible that I can go blind later in life and i'll be more than happy to wear glasses again. I had a year warranty on my eyes and was gonna get a second procedure done for free to fix the problem but then I would have to pay for these new check ups because my warranty would've been up. Circumstances just wouldn't allow me to get it done because I had moved in that time almost an hour and a half a way and that's a lot of gas money the way the prices are now. Also I couldn't still can't find a job and my mom lost her job too so I wouldn't be able to afford it anymore. Lasik was a huge dissapointment, $3,000 down the drain
Am I a good candidate for lasik surgery?
I am 25 years old and want to have lasik surgery for a very long time but I am very scared. I have lazy eye and a 600 degree of nearsightness and a 300 degree of astigmatism on my left eye and a 250 degree nearsightness on my right eye. I have been wearing glasses since age 5 and never wore contacts. My perscriptions haven't changed for many years. I don't have diabetes, glacoma, cataracts, dry eye, or other eye diseases. I want to see clearing without wearing glasses. Should I consider lasik surgery? If not, what should I consider? Please help. It is best if you are an eye doctor for lasik surgery. Thanks.
Can I get lasik eye surgery?
I am 19 years of age, and I realize I have to be about 21 to get lasik surgery since my eyesight has not stabilized, but will lasik be a viable option for me? I have over 10 eyesight for each eye really bad and astigmatism. I don't want to live with this poor eyesight forever or go blind. If not lasik, are there any other options for me?
