My vision is 20 20, yet i'm a tad farsighted. When I got prescription glasses a few months ago, I couldn't BELIEVE the difference it made. The world is so much more crisp, clear and in focus. However, I hate wearing glasses and want to get laser eye surgery. Can they make my vision better than 20 20? Is it possible to bring it down to 20 10?

I had PRK laser eye surgery 11 days ago and am doing reasonably well. The doctor says I'm actually ahead of schedule with about 20 25 vision. However, my vision varies from day to day with some distortions. I'm religiously using all the eye drops the doctor said to use. There's an antibiotic one, an anti inflammatory steroid, and a tear producing one. I want to also give myself the best nutrition possible to facilitate healing. I've been buying fresh juices. There's one that's a combination of fresh carrot juice and some others. Is that good? However, I have a bad habit of drinking colas. Will I do better if I junk those? What foods and nutrients should I consume to give my eyes what they need to heal up?

Can you become a fighter pilot if you've had laser eye surgery?
I'm only fifteen right now, but I'm looking into careers with the RAF as a fighter pilot for when I leave school. I don't have perfect vision and I wear contact lenses, and my prescription is 3, so not that strong. If I undertook laser eye surgery to completely correct my vision, is it still possible to become a fighter pilot, or do you have to have perfect vision from the beginning? Thanks.

Laser eye surgery when I'm 18?
I'm turning 18 this summer and I'm planning to do laser eye surgery to make my eyes see better. My eye sight isn't horrible, but it's pretty bad. I'm also going into a university this fall and I don't want to wear glasses every class. What do you think? Is 18 too early to get the surgery?

Is It Common For Eyes To Deteriorate As Soon As 5 Years After Having Laser Eye Surgery?
I had laser eye surgery 5 years ago to have my cornea re shaped, which gave me 20 15 eyesight better than normal. It's hard to say when my eyes started to worsen, but things are starting to look rather fuzzy. When I had my yearly physical in October, I scored 20 25 after being tested on the letters of the eye chart. I regularly use eye drops everyday to moisten my eyes, and I don't know what more I could be doing for my overall eye health. Is it uncommon for eyes to deteriorate this soon after having laser eye surgery, and is there something the eye doctor can do to help?
Laser eye surgery, should I get LASIK or LASEK?
From what I can gather there is very little difference between the two, although apparently the LASEK is considerably cheaper. The optician also told me that my pupils are quite large so LASEK wouldnt cover the whole pupil, does this sound about right? I have booked the LASEK treatment but will get the LASIK if necessary as I just want to be sure that its done right, I am going to ring the clinic again tomorrow to try and get more information but I was just interested to know if somebody could explain it to me beforehand...
