Black spot in vision when outside only.?
I noticed that for the past week or so whenever I'm driving I have a black floater in my left eye only. When I move my eye it follows. This doesn't happen when I'm inside, only outside. I'm going to make an eye appointment, but I'm a little worried about it. Has anyone ever experienced this or have any idea what could be causing it?
Fuzzy spots in vision?
Usually when Im sitting down and I suddenly stand up dark, fuzzy spots block my vision for a few seconds and I get extremely dizzy. I have visited a few doctors and they say it's just from standing up too fast but it happen even when I walk. I read on another website that the fuzzy spots are a sign of fainting. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and if so should I continue going to a doctor for this or just try and deal with this myself?
EYE SPECIALISTS: difference in vision for right vs left eye?
Left eye sees perfectly, can read a 12pt Times New Roman font clearly in the 15cm 2.5m range.Right eye nearsighted, can read the same font clearly in the 10cm 1.2m range, also slightly DECREASED SENSITIVITY TO CONTRAST is noted snow white sheet of paper as seen by left eye appears a bit more grey to right eye . Is this significant? Should I be doing something about this?Extra info I am 19, female, first started noticing bluriness in my right eye at age 12 it was minor back then , only noticed the decreased sensitivity to contrast in the last couple of years or so. When both my eyes are open, I can see things clearly guessing my left eye is doing most of the work .

Weird "white noise" in vision?
I am currently not on any medication. I've recently been noticing this weird 'white noise' behind my vision, and I am not sure if it's anything to be too concerned about. It's literally as if someone layed out white noise from a tv underneath everything in my vision. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and if it is any sort of problem. It doesn't particularly interfere with my daily life, but it is sometimes distracting when trying to read and what not.
Shaky vision and wavy lines in vision.?
Whenever I am looking at a wall of a solid color, the whole wall seems to be shaky much like a television experiencing snow from a bad signal. Also, when I look at the sky I see squiggly lines, and falling dots everywhere. I went to my normal check up at the optometrist and nothing was out of the ordinary. I also went to an optalmologist last week who told me everything was fine. I am still concerned, even though two doctors have said i'm fine. It just seems odd that this is normal. I am also diabetic.
Transparent black 'clouds' in vision?
In the last couple of years I have been experiencing black trasparent clouds in my vision. They are only really obvious when I look at a blue sky and they travel from the outer area of my vision to my focus point,as if you were to look down a tunnel of black clouds rushing towards a centre point. It's not tunnel vision because I can see everything in my line of vision, not just what I'm focusing on.The clouds originally started 'coming' from just outside where I was focusing but I notice them starting from a wider area and rushing towards the centre of my vision.Anyone know any medical terms I could use to find some information?
Is a flash of light in vision normal?
im 18 I have astigmatism in both eyes i dont have diabetes i got prescription eye glasses about 3 months ago I had the full exam my first appointment dilation checking my retina ect the doctor told me everything looks good. then after i got my glasses i had another appointment 2 weeks later just to see how im seeing with the new glasses and i see okay except at night..... but for some reason now if i have my glasses off or on when i look hard right ill see this white looking circle in my left eye but only towards the right side of my left eye.I see this the same way in my right eye if i look hard left and if i look up hard enough i see kind of the same thing but in both eyes.I called the ophthalmologist office i went to 3 months ago the person who answered told me its because my eyes are adjusting to the new glasses. Is this true or should i schedule another appointment to be sure? because i am afraid pf having a retinal detatchment...
Seeing colors in vision for a moment, is this bad?
So whenever i would get up from laying down or sitting down i would get these colors around my vision where only the center is the only visible part I can see. The colors are always green and purple and it usually takes about a couple of seconds for the colors to go away. It also happens sometimes when im walking. Also im usually fine before i see the colors no hunger, dizziness or headache, but when the colors appear for that moment i feel dizzy and like im going to fall. Can someone please tell me if they have heard of this before?
Colorful, sparkly lights in vision.........?
my eyes have been very sensitive to light, every time i go into a lite area i see the sparkly lights and when i open my eyes in the dark i see bright color in my vision, mainly green. Im going to get an eye exam soon but any thoughts of what this could be?and i also a blurry spot in right eye, its seems like im look through a bubble but that goes away then comes back....
What does -1.50 and -2.25 mean in vision?
And which one is better?
Sudden change in vision?
So it is silly that I am going to Yahoo answers now, and don't have an answer read on, you will find out why.About a year and a half ago, I was washing up brushing my teeth, etc. All of a sudden, I have this stabbing pain in my lower right back kidney area. The pain is so quick and staggering that I feel my body about to pass out. Anyway, while my vision is slowly starting to darken, i am fighting passing out at this point I make my way into my bedroom, kind of wobbly. It's about 50 feet total. Once I reach my bed, I just let myself fall and I end up falling asleep. note Not passing out, as that went away as soon as I laid down. I just fell asleep fairly quickly Anyway, I sleep for about an hour and a half or so. When I wake up, I feel weird in terms of my sight. It feels like I see everything, but it's like I'm looking through a window... sorta. Imagine the movie 'Being John Malcovich' where all of those people can see what he sees through different eyes. It's really hard to explain, as you can " see." It just feels like my eyes did not feel like my eyes. Now, me being the totally responsible and intelligent person that I am, I haven't gone to a doctor yet. I will, I promise Anyway, other side effects I experience besides the weird feeling is this visual snow that has appeared. Whenever I close my eyes or it's fairly dark, I see white noise. I know for a fact this has never been before that incident. One piece of information I can give is that when I was young, I did this thing once or twice where I put pressure on the bottom of my eyes and it would make me see a bunch a grey spots to the point where my vision would completely clouded. I am pretty sure that that has no connection to my current condition The reason I bring that up is that now i feel like there is always some sort of pressure around my eyes and I feel like that is what can be causing my different site. So I am here to ask, what could it be that made my lower right back internal, kidney area hurt so bad that it almost made me pass out and then had such a sudden effect on my eyesight. Maybe when I fell on my bed, I fell so hard that my eyes got jarred out of position I am kind of lol ing at that thought. Anyway, I don't expect any " final thoughts" here for myself since I will go to the Dr for this, but seeing how much of a professional procrastinator I am, I can only hope that it is not too late to do anything about it.Anyway, thanksIggy
After exercise, squiggly lines in vision and headaches?
Sometimes after intense physical activity, about 20 minutes after I stop, my visiion will start to develop squiggly lines. The lines usually go away about 30 minutes after I relax and get my heart rate down. However, afterwards I usually develop really painful headaches behind my forehead that last for sometimes up to 24 hours. Any ideas what this might be?
