Girlfriend's migraines and the possible link to the dilation in her eyes.?
My girlfriend has bad migraines on a regular basis. She's 30 years old and has had them since around the age of 15. They're pretty bad from what I understand and witness. Not only does she experience extreme pain, but there's also terrible nausea and from time to time I think she forgets things for just a little while or misplaces memories nothing significant, just small things... There is one thing that she and I joked about once when we first started dating that has caused her funny looks from time to time and that's her pupils. Her pupils are often extremely dilated. I mean, as big as when you go to get an eye exam and the optometrist puts that chemical in your eyes or as large as someones eyes who has taken a drug like LSD or Ecstasy this is what I meant by the funny looks from people at different times in her past because of her pupils... There are no medications that she takes other than when she has migraines, so there is nothing that causes her pupils to dilate like that. She doesn't have insurance right now so when she gets them she really suffers. Her doctor will give her a light prescription for Maxalt not sure if I spelled that correctly and that's for the migraine, and he gives her percocet for the pain, and Finigrin for the nausea. It takes a large portion of her income to pay out of pocket for the doctors visits and the medicines. She has a degree in Social Work and later she got her Real Estate license and back when she was working in either of those professions, she had insurance and she was on the right path working with a neurologist but her insurance ran out before they made any significant findings about her situation. The work she does now is minimal because of the frequency of the migraines because she can't hold a regular job and be out as much as it puts her out sometimes a day or two at a time. There is no depression other than that caused by the migraines. Her family is doing fine and my family is doing fine. Everyone gets along great and we have a wonderful relationship between the two of us. We hope to get married in the not too distant future hopefully then I can add her to my insurance and get some answers... I just wanted to see if there was anyone out there that might know of a connection between the dilation in her pupils and the migraines. We have to keep the house dark and she has a quick negative response to light when her pupils are larger. Thank you for your time and any helpful advice.
My two year old has eyelashes in her eyes?
I've noticed that my two year old has eyelashes that are bent down into the outer corner of her eye. Their from the top row of her lashes, but seem to have bent into her eye and I can't get them out. She doesn't seemed bothered by them, but I feel like it may cause an infection later on. Anyone have experience with this? Do Optometrist remove such things?

My dog has cloudiness in her eyes on the surface . The vet said that her pupils will not dilate, and that it is not cataracts. He does not know what it is, but he gave us some medicine. He gave us an antibiotic eye drop, and a pill that covers any bacterial infection. Neither medicine will hurt her. She is a 4 year old english springer spaniel. I am very worried about her. Any help is welcomed. Thanks

My dog has floaters in her eyes, Is it serious?
My dog has those clear worm like things in her eyes. At first she used to scratch her eyes a lot but now its less and it doesn't seem to bother her anymore. Its getting better but should I still see a vet?It was worse but now its better so should I just wait for it to eventually go away?Also, we don't take our dog to the vet because my parents say that where they come from they never took their dogs to the vet and they still lived long. We took her the first two years but now its been three years since we haven't taken her.If we take our dog to the vet now, will we get in some trouble? My mom seems to have gotten a peice of metal stuck in her eye from grinding...?
Earlier today my mom was grinding and seemed to have gotten a peice of metal stuck in her eye, its bugging the shit out of her and we cant seem to see it... She can feel it, but we aren't able to see it...She's describing where it is but i just cant see it, its apparently quite small. We tried lifting up her eyelid to see if there was any sort of infection but the only thing Im able to see is a slight bubble just beneath her eyelid. I wear contacts so im used to these kind of infections but im not too sure if its just swelling, or if thats the metal. Its too late to go see the doctor so im unsure what to do. Im worried to leave it for the morning.Help would be appreaciated, thanks

This morning she woke up complaining about the sun being too bright and her eye itching. For a min I thought she had pink eye, but then I saw a little white speck.
