I have hard contact lenses and I'm running low on my solution which is Boston Simplus Multi Action solution....I was just curious if there is a better multi purpose solution for hard lenses. This solution works but my contacts still bother me even after a year , specifically the right one for some reason.....But is there a better solution for more sensetive eyes? Something that conditions them a little more?
Trouble with my hard contact lenses?
i got hard contact lenses a month ago, but everyday i wear them it always fogs up frequently from time to time and the only way to unblur them is to rewet them with eye drops, but after a few minutes they fog up again. its so distracting. whats the problem?
Why did my eyesight only improve a tiny bit after wearing hard contact lenses?
I recently got hard contact lenses rigid gas permeable the ones you put in at night and so the first day, before I went to bed I put them in and slept. The next day, I took them out, and my eyesight only improved A TINY bit from my original eyesight I was able to see 4 5 inches in front of me a bit clearer . Why is this? Is it because it is only the first day? Or did I not put them in right? Or is it supposed to be like this??? I certainly hope not, those lenses were pretty damn expensive To you people who say that I'm not supposed to wear them at night and wear them in the day, I don't think you ever heard of the lenses I have. Perhaps I got the name wrong, but I am 100 % sure. For one, my eye doctor told me explicitly so to wear them at night and take them off in the morning, and I also have a few good friends who have these lenses themselves.
What are hard contact lenses and can you sleep in them?
i wear 6.50 soft contact lenses, and i went to my optician today and said i could change to lenses that last 3 years, costing around 180. he said they feel uncomfortable for about a month, but are very good ater that.but do you sleep in them, or have to take them out?
How bad is it to soak rigid/hard contact lenses in solution meant for soft contact lenses?
I'm running a little low on the conditioning soaking solution for my rigid hard contact lenses and I'm currently in a third world country where the rigid conditioning soaking solution seems nonexistent in markets, pharmacies, and optical stores how bad would it be if I bought a container of the soft contact lens conditioning soaking solution? Is there some other substance that would be better? Water?
Rgp hard contact lenses? HELP!!!!?
So i got rgp lenses about 2 weeks ago and when i try my right eye im fine with it just a slight discomfort and thats all but when i try my left eye it hurts so much i cant even open my eye it becomes all red and tears like crazy ive only gotten to open and wear my left contacts like 3 days with a good experience by good experience i mean i try them on and it hurts like crazy but eventually i manage to keep them on i was wodering what the pain is?? My eyelids dont hurt it is my eye for sure and the contact moves out of its place a lot and when i look around and it touches around my iris it hurts. I had intact surgey back in march is my eye still tender? I have an appointment with my doctor in 3 days but im so frustated and worried..is this normal? When i also take them off and blink i kinda have eye pain for a while and my left eye feel kinda hot like inflammed any suggestions what it is or any advice??

I have dry eyes because I use computers a lot, I feel soft contact lenses uncomfortable because they dry my eyes even if i use eye drops a lot. I have never tried hard lenses because I have heard they are hard to get used to. but if they dont dry my eyes then I think it is worth to try to use them.if you are hard lenses wearer please tell me if this is a good option for dry eyes?and where can i get hard lenses? how much are they?
Hard contact lenses that reshape your eyeball?
I have some friends that got the hard lenses that you wear daily and then nightly kind of like retainers for your teeth that reshape your eyeball and after a couple months you don't need to wear any kind of corrective device anymore for your eyesight... is this OK to use for your eye? Or should I get Lasik or continue with my contacts?
