Can my blind uncle get his eyesight back?
He went through laser eye surgery at least ten years ago and he is 70 now. I don't know why, but the surgery went wrong and my uncle, even though he became completely blind, didn't report it until over a year after, when it was too late to sue. when he did finally go back to the eye doctor he told my uncle that one eye might be able to be repaired. something about the doctor clearing out fluids from his eye. anyway, the eye doctor said this about his eye over ten years ago.I would also like to point out that he is a severe alcoholic. I recently took over as his full time caregiver. he cut back a lot but he still drinks. he's been drinking heavily for over 30 years and it's a miracle he is still alive and semi healthy.what is the possibility of my uncle being able to repair an eye that hasn't been in use for years?

Okay, in class when I'm reading a book or reading out loud, I stutter with what I'm reading because it looks like the words are moving all over the place. I miss some words and I mix up D's and B's, P's and Q's, M's, N's and W's. Whenever I have to read to the class I read really slowly so I don't miss the words that are there. I'm failing Language Arts and last quarter I got a D. I'm able to type because I have memorized the keyboard, but when I'm reading this, it looks like alphabet soup. Don't tell my I'm dyslexic because I doubt that I am. If it isn't dyslexia, then what is it? If it is dyslexia which I highly doubt it is how do I tell my mother? Thanks for any information you have

If a person lost their eyesight to diabetes. Is there any chance that they could get their eyesight back or would they be blind for ever? Do you know anybody that lost their eyesight to diabetes that was able to see again?

I've gotten my specs a month ago but i haven't been wearing it lately. I love my specs but due to certain circumstances i can't exactly wear it 24 7. I just wanna know whether wearing it inconsistently will do anything to the power or not.Recently, i've been wearing it for a couple of hours then i put it aside for a few hours. then i wear it again for another couple of hours.Also, i'm not used to being able to see so clearly i've been having blur eyesight for quite a long time btw and i realised that even with my specs on i couldn't see the words from a faraway signboard.I can see things really clearly slightly a metre in front of me but not the words 2 or 3 blocks away.Is this normal?Does anyone have an idea to help me out? thanks.

it has come to light in the news this week that so many people are driving their vehicles and not able to see clearly. what is the legal distance someone should be able to read with glasses, or with glasses. Hiya there,I am 13 Years old, I have decided i would like to become a pilot when I am older, I would like to improve my eyesight as i do wear glasses and i heard you need extremely good eyesight for being a pilot At the moment one of my eyes is1.25, The other is 1.75.I would like to know any tips to help change my eyesight to a more stronger one, And i hve stopped watching TV.
