However, i want to know if i can reduce the price by using my prescription for my glasses for my contacts and only pay a fitting fee. If not, what are cheap places that i can get a fitting and such? and what do i have to buy for contacts exactly? some filter things? I'm so sorry, i'm quite confused

So I am ordering glasses from Zenni Optical that are prescription, and my friend wanted to get a pair too so I thought I'd get them a pair too so I could save on shipping. But they don't wear glasses, it's just for cosmetic purposes. So, is it possible to do this? What prescription would I have to input to make it not do anything at all?

I have a second pair of eyeglasses but I don't like the temples that came with it. The long part on the side of the frames that you put on your ears. Where could I find some nice replacement pieces and is there anything fancy I have to do to replace them? Or can I just unscrew them and swap it.

Ok I bought the perfect pair of glasses a few years ago when i had a job w great vision insurance. One day the screw came out of my frames and when I took them to a local Lenscrafters in the mall they BROKE my beautiful frames The manager gave me weak apologies and a free pair of glasses the ones I wear now but they are nowhere near the quality of my frames plus they are thin and seem to be perpetually crooked no matter how much I adjust them. Also anytime my face gets the least bit sweaty my glasses keep sliding down my nose.I ll be starting nursing school next semester and I know there will be many times in clinicals when I ll have both hands tied up in some messy task and I can t afford to have my glasses sliding down my nose it happens enough as a CNA now. I was thinking, if I can find and buy my old frames online can I take them to my old eye doctor s office and have them use my old prescription to put lenses in the frames? I don't have the outrageous health insurance offered at my current job so anyone know how much just having the prescription lenses made and put in would cost?

I can see fine for most part but we took a vision test at school and with my eyes opened I could read it alright.When they asked me to close my right eye and read, everything far away was blurry I told the guy I couldnt see what was there.When I closed my left eye and looked with my right, I could read the board, not the best but I could manage to get something.Then he asked me if I wore glasses. . . so should I look into getting checked by a real doctor? thanks.
