I'm not familiar with the places in your area, but, for this procedure, don't shop by price, you want to find someone who has a very good sucess rate. Be wary of people who try to hurry you into making a quick decission, like claiming there is a special discount if you sign up right now, or some nonsense like that. Its OK to hire "the cheap mechanic " to fix you car, if he messes up, the job can always be re-done, if you hire "the cheap LASIK guy " to fix your eyes, and he messes up, you will be living with the results for life. Keep in mind that, once you get about 40-ish, no matter how good a job they did with the LASIK, you will still need reading glasses. |
