Question: How can i bring the swelling down in my eyes?

(Background Information) For almost a week now my eye's have been somewhat swollen, but the past 3 days they've just been becoming larger and larger. Yesterday I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with strep throat. And my doctor told me that they're just swollen because of all the pressure in my face. But I've been taking the medicine and they're actually even more swollen. Expecially my left eye, its so swollen that I can see my eye lid without looking into a mirror. But beside's the strep medicine I've also been taking Sudafed. But I was just wondering, are there any home remedies that I can do to try and bring the swelling down???
