I hear Costco is cheap but I don't have a Costco card, any good local places anyone can recommend at a fair price?
Why did my one of my eye suddenly get blurry?
I already wear glasses but i woke up and one of my eye is really got really blurry out of no where. I thought it was like when it gets blurry in morning and u just wait for it to focus but it wouldn't focus. What happened?
What tools are used in eye examinations?
Ok I had an eye exam today and I remember these tools. It was a phoropter, a slit lamp, an opthamaloscope, and this one tool that looked like a small red laser. What is this small red laser? Also how does my Optometrist read the Phoropter? And this other tool I think it's an auto refractor that had a tiny house come in and out of focus. and the puff of air machine. Is it bad that I wasn't able to decide between 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 because he said my endpoints were hard to pinpoint. So basically I was being indecisive about what he was showing me. He also fitted me with a new pair of contacts and said I didn't need toric lenses anymore for astigmatism. He said my vision hasn't changed too much but my left eye went down. I think he meant my power of prescription. He checked my eyes with a slit lamp and said my eyes are still allergic. Because I have chronic eye allergies. I will have them for life. So what are the uses of all tools in optometry. Can you believe it I have been a patient with my doctor since 9 now I am 16.
Little sis born blind, could she "see" in her head/mind's eye?
My 7 year old sister was born blind, and she is very good with her other senses, especially her feeling. She feels things with her hands, when she was a toddler, she would feel the shapes of my and my parents faces, and she memorized our features, and could tell us where our noses were, and stuff like that. What I want to know is if she feels a cube block, memorizes its features by touching it, the paths the shapes take, could she be able to see it in her mind's eye? Like, actually be able to picture the shape of the cube's lines in her head by the feel of the shape? Thanks.
Should i see an eye doctor?
i was at camp where we were having a water ballon and flower cooking flower war, where i got hit with a flower bag and i got flower in my eyes. i have noticed my vision is slightly blury and it happened yesterday. i washed my eyes out with water. what should i do?
Could I damage my eyes if I keep taking my glasses off and on constantly?
I am short sighted and got my first pair of glasses yesterday. But in class to see the board I will need them on, but when looking down to write I can still see clearly with on but also clearly without them. However as they are really for long distances surely I shouldn't be wearing them when reading or writing. But when I'm taking them off my eyes feel strange I don't know if its cause I'm new to them and not use to them, but could it irritate my eyes refocusing constantly with and without glasses? Also it's kinda annoying removing them all the time.
Why am i able to dilate my eyes when i want?
i can be in the same lighting and dilate my eyes if i want. my friends always get a kick out of it, they ask me how i do it, but i don't really know why i'm able to do it.
I have been having eye problems...?
Well, I can see very well, I can read small text from far away, I have never worn glasses or contacts, so my eyes are not bad or anything, but lately the past 3 4 months Almost twice a day my eyes will randomly black out and will not be able to see anything for about 10 seconds and then my vision will slowly fade back in, I just want to know if this is something I should get checked out. I do not want to be stuck without my eyes for an hour, or even forever.
Could it be eye cancer?
Past few days i've had a headache behind my left eye, and today when i looked on facebook i saw a very recent photo of me were my pupils are two different colours. ones red and ones white. ive alrady made an appointment to see a doctor but i remember reading something in newspaper couple of weeks back saying thats one of the signs of eye cancer. I can't see out of my right eye cause everything is blurred.?
Im starting to get worried about my right eye and fearing that I could go blind if I dont get surgery on it. I see fine without glasses, which I have, but the glasses dont help at all ive worn them for at least 3 months straight. I need help trying to figure out what I might need to have done.
I keep on seeing light move in the corner of my eye?
I keep seeing a light, which looks as though somebody is holding a light bulb and moving it around in the corner of my eye and whenever i turn to look at it, it isn't there? i ask people if they see it and they say no, is there anything wrong with my eyes? i'm only 18 and have 20 20 vision, the only thing I think it could be is spiritual, however silly you may think I am for thinking that I believe in that sort of stuff.

Okay, so there's this hiring in my eyelid and it isn't red or puffy, it just hurts to touch it, or move my eyelid there, and it hurts for a little while if I do touch it. It went away after about three weeks, but the pain eventually came back I wasn't punched, I haven't done ANYTHING what is it?
