What should be applied on a post op eye trauma, warm or cold compress?
Eye floaters from serious eye trauma...?
Does anyone have suggestions on helping with eye floaters that are a result from an eye trauma. I'm not talking a few dots here and there from getting smacked in the face. I mean an explosion that caused a cataract surgery, multiple laser surgeries, and 7 years years later, a massive amount of strings and dots floating around in the eye that are bothersome everyday all day. Depressed after severe eye trauma?
Last Wednesday, I was in a car accident. The airbag hit my right eye really hard, and I'm completely blind in that eye. There's some chance that I'll get my vision back in that eye, but there's also a greater chance I'll lose it. I have a hyphema my eye is filled up with blood , my iris is torn, and my cornea is swollen.I've been pretty much okay since the accident, but I've been a little depressed. I have thoughts of killing myself because I don't want to deal with all the surgeries and doctor appointments and I don't want to deal with losing my eye. I get mad at my sister the driver of the car because she wasn't hurt and can just move on, and I can't. I know it's not fair to feel this way because it's not like she meant to do this to me, and she's been really nice to me, so I feel guilty that I have these feelings. I also get mad at everyone that can see because I can't. I know it's not fair I just can't help feeling this way. I cry a lot and I feel really helpless and pathetic. I've been this way since the accident.I don't know what to do. Help?
Can eye trauma cause glaucoma?
say if somebody punched you in the eye or you got hit with a brick in the eye.could that cause glaucoma in someone?

Has anyone ever had their eye dilated by medicine?I have been given cyclopentolate hydrochloride solution it the same stuff they use to dilate your eye to look at the back of the eye to relax my eye.I have an eye ulcer. The nurse gave me the vile and said wash your eye with it. I put the whole vile in and my eye dilated much to my shock. I was not told what what it did. I assumed it was an eye wash. My vision is blurred. Has anyone used this before or had their eye dilated. Question is how long before your vision and eye returned to normal?
Eye trauma - I have blood in my eye?
I have a facial injury resulting resulting in a black eye, I didn't go to an accident and emergency because i knew there wasn't any boney injury. Now the swelling has reduced to virtually nothing I've noticed I have a blood spot about 1cm in diameter on the white of my eye. It hasn't infiltrated the coloured part of my eye, its only the white area. I can see, have no pain and don't sufferer from reduced movement should eye be worried? will it be permanent or will the blood disappear over time? excuse the pun
