Do I need an eye test?
Im 18 and my last test was a bit over a year agoLately when I'm reading or watching tv using a computer Ive ended up having to strain my eyes and find myself blinking hard because they feel uncomfortable. I think my vision is fine except every now and then when I have to strain a bit. Do I need and eyetest? And how likely will it be that I need glasses? Thanks
Lets say I do an eye test and I get 20/30, my perscription for my glasses are at 450. How much will it add?

I failed the eye test. They said u need a minimum vision without glasses and I couldn't read the letters. My dreams are crushed.Anyway, a girl had told me to not where my glasses5 hrs the day b4 i sleep nor during the day of the exam. Would an eye test show if you had a brain tumour?
PS I've been waking up in the night, doctor says its depression worry but I'm worried its a brain tumour. Is there a type of brain tumour that would cause me to wake up in the night as a single symptom. Thanks.

Hello, my 3 year old has recently been diagnosed with astigmatism and has been prescribed glases. I would just like to know what level it is really?Diagnosis Mixed astigmatismCurrent treatment Partial prescription spectacles for full time wear right 1.75 2.25 x 180, left 1.75 2.25 x 180It says that he appears to have equal vision in both eyes, but this is reduced, measuring 3 7.5 right and left. In view of his reduced visions and level of astigmatism, which left uncorrected is very likely to meridional amblyopiaI really don't understand much of this. Any information would be very greatful. I'm 19 and wear glasses for watching tv and looking at the board in school. I have been to the eye doctor 4 times. I have heard from my friends who go to a different eye doctor that they always have to do the glaucoma test puff test and the dilation tests, but my eye doctor never does these with me Are they really important? Its coming up to a year, last year I got glasses for reading ect.. . I was 13 at the time 14 now . I got them tested last November. I admit I don't wear them any more. I find it hard to read a book because it goes blurry after a while.Sorry I know I spelt Impotent wrong In a rush

Recently at school I have noticed in some lessons I can't read the board very well and I have to ask friends to read me what is on the board so I can copy it into my book. They say that I should have my eyes tested. My eyes don't hurt but I do struggle particularly in some lessons to read the board. The problem is in two of my lessons we have seating plans so I can't move closer to the front. We have two types of board one is like a projector and the other a white board which the teachers write on in black pen. I struggle to read the White board. At first I thought it might have been the teachers writing but because it happened in different lessons with different teachers, I have a feeling it might be my eyes especially when my friends can read it. So do you think it is worth me having my eyes tested just to check, even though they don't hurt and I am not seeing spots stripes??Thanks P.s. I've never had my eyes tested before

What do my eye test results mean sph cyl AxisR 0.25 2.00 170.0L 0.25 1.50 175.0All other acronyms have no numbers, this is annoying as exam was so rushed i did not understand they just pushed me towards buying glasses straight away after a 10min exam, i felt uncomfortable and left what was asked of me and they shone so much light in my eye i cld hardly see, my eyes were sore as i didnt sleep well a few nights before test.is this a legal requirement to wear glasses while driving?
Eye test tomorrow due to frequent migraines, what will be possible outcomes? Glasses, medication etc?
So I'm having an eye test tomorrow because I keep getting migraines and light is affecting my head. I'm just wondering what will be possible outcomes of my test? My eyesight is fine so I'm wondering could I still maybe need glasses or could I be prescribed medication to help, I've already been given temporary migraine pills.Any advice or input would be really appreciated thank you
