Do eye exercises truly improve vision?
Hi,I'm wondering if eye exercises e.g. the Bates method actually work?I'm willing to put effort into trying to improve my vision, because I'm sure it's getting worse. I don't wear glasses yet, but I'm scared I will need to very soon.I am interested if you have tried CONSISTENTLY with any eye exercises and if they have worked for you. If you haven't put much effort into them, I don't really want your opinion.I have read up some eye exercises and am not completely convinced. They seem a bit like scams, but I'm not really sure. I've tried some, but not consistently and not for very longThanks for your help
Why aren't eye exercises promoted anymore?
About 20 years ago I was diagnosed with Myopia and instead of receiving glasses, my eye doctor said I could improve using a couple of eye exercises. I did them and noticed the change over a couple of weeks. But I notice that nowdays when you go to the eye doctor you will end up having to wear glasses. Why are eye exercises not promoted? They take a while but if done correctly they improve nearsightedness. I mean if eye exercises didn't work then how did my vision improve? I have family members that wear glasses and they say that the eye doctor told them theres no other way to improve vision other than lasik? So how is it that my eye doctor knew about eye exercises and todays doctors think that surgery is the answer to everything?
Are there eye exercises to cure nearsightedness?
I was diagnosed with nearsightedness which means I can barely see distant objects. But I have no money for glasses let alone surgery.and my job provides us no health insurance. I have been searchin for natural ways and saw about some eye exercises but it doesnt go into detail about how to perform them. Does anyone know about this. How are they done and how long does it take for myopia to dissapear. I would get me some glasses but I barely have money for rent and to eat. I am lookin for cheap options .

ok , im doing eye exercise for about a month to improve my vision , but im confused with this one exercise , here is it i need to focus on a small detail tip of a pen , then bring the pen closer to me until it's about 3 inches in front of my face , then move the pen away again until my arms are full outsretched , i repeat it 3 times a day ,that what they call zooming , i noticed while i'm focusing on the small detail , tears drop from eyes , while i focus , to focus means to stare right ? i read that staring is bad for our eyes ? can anyone help me ? im really confused

I have light myopia and I've been using glasses with 0.5 lenses for a couple of months. I heard of eye exercises that can improve my view naturally, but I don't know how to start. Any idea?
