Name for eye disorder Opthamologist sees but causes no problem with my vision?
I have used just about every search engine I can think of and can't find the eye disorder that I have and am embarrassed to call my surgeon to ask him what I have.When he looks into my left eye he always gets very excited and says, " Yes, I always forget that you are my patient that has ????????" . He then tells me the name of the disorder and says it is very beautiful for him to look at. Go figure this man is a gorgeous hunk and all he sees in me is an eye disorder LOL . Regardless, I did write the name of the disorder down once a few years ago and found a picture of it on the internet. Indeed, it is a very pretty sight. From what I remember it was a lot of brightly colored spots. They are only visible to the doctor upon examination and cause no visual problems to me at all. I was telling my daughter about this the other night and wanted to look up the picture to show her. I know if I see the name of the disorder I will recognize it. Please help if you can Donna

Recently, I have noticed something peculiar with two of my friends' eyes. They both have light green eyes making this disorder more apparent. The two of them are brothers and may have both inherited this. When looking in their eyes and looking at the pupil region, you can see like black bands that stretch across the righter most region of the eye. It is the same for the both of them same eye, same region. It does not look like the pupil " bleeds" into the iris region because the pupil does not look aberrant in shape like it would if bleeding into the iris. What is this condition, if a condition at all?It looks like a cyst or a split.
