Can eye conditions such as myopia or astigmatism cure themselves over time without laser or glasses?
Is it possible for me to become a doctor if i have serious eye conditions..?
Is it possible for me to become a doctor if i have serious eye conditions..?First of all, i'm only 14, so i'm not looking to be a doctor for another few years, but i'd like to do it when i'm older.I'm half blind.. I was born with Glaucoma and Cataracts, have 2 valves, previous detached retina, and have had dozens of operations. I can see ok to get around, and it is improving, so hopefully it won't be this bad later in life. I can read normal sized writing usually. Is ther any way i could do anything medical when i'm older?I know you'll probably all say no, but this is something i really do want to do so i was just wondering Thanks DAnd sorry if this is the wrong section... Asked it in the Higher Level Education section too but thought you people might know better Thanks
Are there any eye conditions that can cauze dizziness instead of vision loss?
That might require corrective lenses or glasses?
Are there any eye conditions with the same symptoms as a lazy eye?
I went to the eye doctor and noticed just my right eye is starting to go bad. The eye doctor tried all sorts of lenses to correct my vision but nothing seemed to be working. And when I use both my eyes I have 20 20 vision. I am 19 years old and have been to the eye doctor regularly since I can remember and I havent had one doctor say it looks like I have a sign of a lazy eye. Ive never even had glasses. But all my symptoms seem to match a lazy eye and the eye doctor couldnt tell for certain if it was a lazy eye or not. And ive heard that lazy eyes dont really develop past the age of 12. So are there any other eye conditions that match the same symptoms as a lazy eye that i might have? Or am I a 19 year old starting to develop a lazy eye?
