I've been wearing contacts for five years now, and hardly ever wear my glasses.I know that you're supposed to take out your contacts every night.. but I usually forget.Because I know this is not good for my eyes, I've started being better about it and have been reminding myself to take out the contacts nightly.However, I was wondering if there was anything else in the realm of eye care that I could do to make my eyes healthier. I don't know anything about the subject, really. I just want to know that I haven't permanently hurt my eyes or anything. There's nothing wrong with them, as far as I can tell, and my doctor hasn't noticed anything, either. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything to keep them well.Any suggestions would be great. optometrist or an ophthalmologist? and since I lost my job 4 yeras ago and don't have any kind of health insurance how much will either eye care specialist really set me back? and which one won't force me to get glasses reading glasses optometrist or an ophthalmologist ?P.S....called an ophthalmologist office this morning and told them I would like to schedule first time visit to see him & I was told WITHOUT insurance an intial 1st time eye exam cost $400, I lost my heart and my mind and politely said thanks but no thanks. And they weren't willing to give me a price break either with no insurance I figured some doctors would a little, but this one wouldn't cream of the crop my butt I was suggested I go see this godlike ophthalmologist.I have 20 20 vision, never had to wear glasses in all my life and due to some stress in my life recently of taking care of someone with dementia and losing my job, I just had my first heartburn issue last week that's resolved and now 5 days ago my left upper eye lid keeps tremoring embarrass to ask can these eye ticks, twicthes and tremors happen during your menstrual cycle as well??? , humming, or twitching a bit & and it feels at though inside of my eye in the upper inside corner area of the lid feels like a bit of an obstruction issue in there I wake up in the morning and feel like a blook of sorts in there during the day DON'T GET ME WRONG my vision is fine I can see but between the twitching tremoring and this blocked feel in my upper eye lid porton of my left eye and its driving me a bit batty. I rarley glue & sit myself to the computer screen and even when I do on very rare occasions my vision is still fine.Can anyone please help me out with my question never had to go to an eye doctor ever my life the closet I've had my eyes check is at the DMV to renew my license without fail.Thanks...very nervous as to what to expect at this eye doctor visit. please to whoever had my question deleted DON'T, don't appreciate having my medical question yanked when I was about to reward someone 10 full points and you rob me of that chance guys Good I don't drink coffee, tea or soda never have my entire life. we like so many others are faced with the out standing charge of dental care. My husband being a heart patience, has had his beautiful teeth. Mar ed down to nubs do to his medication. Now he needs to have the few he has left out NOW. as it is now a health matter. We like so many other senior citzens with a limited income, and no raises in site. Please he is only 69. I am 66 we will have been together happily for the last 50 years. Can I fix my uneven eyes with any kinds of eye care products?
I'm Asian and I used to have both eyes double eye lid for as long as I can remember. At about the age of 15 I notice in my old pictures that on my right eye, the eyelid is becoming a single and on the left eye it is staying double. The only explanation I can come up with is that I wore my hair very long and combed to the left during 2 years of High School and I remember that the hair used to just sit on my left eye. Now that I have shorter bangs, I can tell that my eyes are extremely uneven, for my right is a single and my left is a double. What I'm wondering is if I can somehow correct my left eye with any kinds of eye care products, and if so, what kinds? Right now, I only have one that my mom recommended to me, and that is Anew Clinical Eye Lift by Avon... Regardless, I really want to fix my eye, especially because it is most noticeable in pictures in which my eyes look like one is wide open and the other is half open.

What do eye-care professionals think about Meir Schneider's case?
I previously asked whether Meir Schneider's case had been investigated, and got no answer. I can only assume that means that people here don't know. So instead I will just ask what you think about this case self healing.org navigation instructors meir schneider . Note that he displays a permanent certificate of blindness from 1970, and an unrestricted driver's license from 2005. Would you guess that he is a fraud, and wasn't really blind to begin with? Or could he have gotten other treatment for it that he is not telling us about?So if this were investigated and did check out, it would overturn accepted science?
