In your opinion, why do most adolescents have such a distorted vision of their body?
not that i can talk. i spend too much time in front of the mirror worrying and fretting and i dont know really know what i look like anymore, its all such a blur of details.

I bent over and i felt the pressure of the blood running to my head.I stood up and all of a sudden there was a bright pulsating flash and then i could not see right.I could not look staight ahead.i had to move my eyes around to see anything. A minute or two later it was like a aura was around everything but still distorted.Then when I got scared and went outside to try to drive to the hospital it just stopped.This has never happened.I am taking adipex now,but I used ti take it before and this never happened.
What is a solution to a vein in my eye causing distorted vision and irriation?
The vein is in my left eye on the outer side of my eyeball. It has been there for quite sometime now, and need help with what to do about it. It seems to be a permanent problem...do I need some sort of surgery?

Hello,Over a year ago I overdosed on Opiates, I am not a drug user nor do I drink or smoke, I remain in very good health. I am Bi polar and whilst disinhibited as a result of my elevated mood I decided to try Heroin big mistake . I overdosed and ended up within 20 minutes of dying, when I came to 3 days later I had acquired tinnitus, severe hearing loss and distorted vision.I have had a CT of Brain and there doesn't appear to be any damage. Since that date I have suffered from Tinnitus continuously as well as distorted vision, anxiety attacks, loss of coordination balance, confusion and brain fog all of which are commorbid. My potentiate e potentiated by stress and poor sleep and the brain fog and confusion are only present under stress.This all occurred after I Graduated from University and Since then I have found working in any job for prolonged periods almost impossible. I wanted to know if there might be any other explanations? I also fell off a horse before the event and hit my head and thought I could possibly be suffering from Barre Lieou syndrome....I also suffer from Sarcoidoses but I very much doubt there is a link as it hasn't spread.I'm not looking for any sympathy because I don't deserve any, all I'm looking for is some answers,Many Thanks,Tim
Why do i have distorted vision?
Has anyone ever had sudden distorted vision?
I was at the zoo today and went to look at the hippo in the water. All of a sudden it was as if each of my eyes was looking at something different and my vision became very distorted, not blurry. I tried to focus on the sign that explained the hippo's habitat, and it was as if it was in two separate pieces as if each eye was looking at it differently. This lasted about 10 seconds because I went to sit down and closed my eyes. A minute later I was fine. That was 5 hours ago. I drove home and am okay. That's never happened before. What could cause such a weird symptom. My vision is fine with my contacts and my glasses. At that time I was wearing sunglasses that I've had for over a year. What could cause such a strange thing to happen?

I was surprised when I looked in the mirror at my right eye, and the reflection of my left eye was nonexistent. I had to lean in close in a silly attempt to be sure that part of my face still existed yes, inane, I know , which it was of course , but when I leaned back it went back into non being. Now, an hour after exercise, my vision has returned to normal, but not before I noticed a strange, watery effect in the corner of my left eye, distorting some of my peripheral vision. Should I be concerned about this? It only happens after exercising.I am a fairly healthy twenty six year old woman whose family health heritage consists of heart disease, breast cancer, glaucoma, and wet macular degeneration, though none of the above are entirely rampant or prevalent.

Ok, a day ago, I woke up with a strange issue in my right eye. It's sort of a faint color cloud that is slightly impairing my vision. It's not strong enough to impair objects, rather mainly reading text. While reading, letters would slightly dip downward progressively as I would progress in my reading. Best way to describe what I see like is when you get flashed in the face with a light and you see a kind of floating colored orb. Except it's very faint, doesn't obscure whole objects, just close details mainly text . I thought it would pass but it hasn't yet. I plan to set an appointment in the morning with my eye doctor but would like some insight on what this might be. I have no other symptom that I can seem to figure out.As a child I suffered from Strabismus, but my right eye was always the stronger one. I've had several surgeries to take care of that and my left eye was more of the problem eye in regards with the Strabismus. I doubt this is related to it at all as the problem only seems to be present in my right eye. And I don't suffer from stuff like double vision or whatever.I am 25, I don't wear contacts, but I wear prescription glasses. My prescription was updated a little over a month and a half ago. From what I can tell it doesn't seem to be caused by the lens.No I don't notice any discoloration or anything unusual when looking in the mirror.No illnesses that I know about., I've been pretty particular with my nutrition. The only unusual thing I can note, is the day before, I went to celebrate a friend's birthday a private karaoke room place. And someone left these strobe lights going for most of the time, maybe 5hrs?
Can you fix distorted vision from crossed eyes?
I use to be crossed eyed when i was younger, but i had laser surgery to correct it when i was around 7. My eyes look fine now, but the vision in one eye is really distorted. Even if i wear glasses or contacts, i still can't see clearly and the difference in vision from both eyes give me headaches. Is there any possible way i can fix my vision?
Distorted Vision, forgetting normal every day stuff. Should I see a doctor?
So, last week I was pretty stressed out. I am a college student and I had a huge paper due with a group that made me a little crazy. Well that was over Friday. On Monday, I started having distorted vision. When I try to read or look at something, my eyes water and I have to constantly refocus with makes it hard for me. I have an exam Friday and I need to read but I have been trying to read the same pages the last couple of days. Today at school I was sitting in the Library with my lap top, got up to go to class, placed the charger in m back pack and got everything else and realized when I got to class I forgot my computer which was sitting right in my face. This morning I also packed my lunch, say my lunch box on top of my back pack and somehow left it at home. I have found my heart racing multiple times as well.I am not sure what any of this is, but what I am most worried about it my vision. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it may be. I want to try to avoid going to the doctor as much as I can because I don't really have insurance and I can't afford a whole bunch of doctor bills.I am pretty busy, I work 7 days a week and I am a full time undergrad student, so I can't really afford to miss time away because I will get super behind. Thank you.
