How long can i wear daily disposable contact lenses for?
I have daily disposable contact lenses and i want to know if i can wear them for more than one day. and if so, how long until they really become no use? 1 week, 2 weeks? i'm running out of contact lenses and my eye doctor appointment isn't until 2 weeks. Unless i can buy 1.75 contact lenses at a store, i want to use the one pair i have left for as long as i could.
How much are disposable contact lenses and how can I buy them?
I asked my doctor whether or not I should get contact lenses and he told me that he would get it later on if he was me because my power has been changing over the years Im 17 . So then I googled contacts and OH.MY.GOD. I find out that there exists DISPOSABLE contacts whoaaaaa .I know my power right now so how do I get them? Where do I order them from? How much does it cost? How long does it take for them to 'make them'? Wait, are they ready made or are they specially made for you?? whaaat? Im still in shock. I plan on wearing contacts to prom but I have noticeable dark circles and glasses let me hide them ...or maybe not. Just want to show my REAL face before I leave school because Ive been wearing glasses since 4th grade D
Can I keep disposable contact lenses longer if I only wear them once in a while?
Acuvue Oasys contact lenses are supposed to last two weeks. Once I open them, if I don't wear them every day, can I keep them for longer soaked in the unopened case as long as I only actually wear them for fourteen days?
Can daily disposable contact lenses come out by rubbing my eye?
I have only worn contacts daily disposable for less than a month, and today my left contact was irratating my eye a little and I rubbed my eye a few times, only around an hour ago i discovered the contact is not in my eye, could by me rubbing my eye the contact have come out without me noticing? Im slightly worried if it may still be in my eye somewhere S
Does anyone get daily disposable contact lenses from Specsavers?
I get them from here through lensmail . I've just opened them and they are using a different type, as the packaging has changed from blue to black and so have the actual lens 'pods'. They are now called ' opsys'The shop is shut now and I'm getting nothing from the net so can anyone tell me are they just re branded or are they something new?OR have they sent me someone elses LOL.

can i reuse daily contacts THE SAME DAY? the reason i am asking this is that i am getting contacts soon but at school i do a lot of expirements in our science lab. my mom wont let me wear contact lenses even tho we wear goggles all the time, because apparently one of the warnings are that if you get chemicals in your eyes while wearing contacts it will damage your eyes more than if you werent wearing them. i cant go out and get a weekly contacts prescription because i cant afford another exam. do you have any ideas what i could do? i plan on taking my contacts out and wearing my glasses during the lab expirements, and put my contacts back on after class. which is approx 1 hour

Ok so this wednesday im going swimming with my friends to this water park, although i'm really blind. & i really don't want to wear goggles as they will distort my vision anyway and they do nothing to help you look more attractive if not worse... come on everyone, be honest, they look ridiculous .I wont be opening my eyes underwater and the only contact with water is when it drips off my eyelash into my eye?Thanks in advancex
Can I wear monthy disposable contact lenses for longer than one month?
I have monthly disposable contact lenses and sometimes I have changed mine in the shorter time than a month. So I don't get new ones for another two whole months and they have been in for like half a month. So is it okay if I keep the ones I have in my eyes now for another 2 months if they have been in for half a month already?
Soft annually disposable contact lenses?
My dad told me that yearly contact lenses should be boiled inside the case with solution each week in low heat for a few minutes to keep the lenses soft. I've been doing it for a few months and my contacts and eyes are perfectly fine but I'm wondering if this is what you're really supposed to do?

im down to my last pair today..and only ordered them today. I need to go out tomorrow and don't wanna wear glasses will it be ok? I use dailies but if i take them out today and put them bk into packaging and leave into some of the liquid.i never normal do this btw

Ii wear daily disposable contact lenses and the next day after i take them out my eyes are always in agony ?
I wear contacts for A maximum of 3 days in a row. The day after these 3 days my eyes feel so dry and painfull and there is a lot of that yellow fluid on the outside of my eye at the lashes. Should i be wearing them at all? Is there a treatment to help dry eyes?
Are there disposable contact lenses for astigmatism?
I have astigmatism that seems to be getting worse. Are there contact lenses that are 1 day wear to correct this? My vision is 8, which is pretty bad, if that makes a difference in my option. I've been wearing the 1 days b c I seem to have sensitive eyes and ended up with a very bad infection years ago when I was wearing the 2 week lenses. My eye doctor felt it best to use the 1 day lenses to keep things as clean as possible I do end up wearing them for 2 days against his orders just to cut the cost a little .
What is the worse that can happen if you use disposable contact lenses too long?
Because of an extreme financial crisis I have been wearing the same disposable contacts for about three months. They feel fine though.
