How much on average are daily contact lenses in the UK?
I want to try out some contact lenses, and I think that dailies will be the best for me, however, i have an issue with price. I am 15 years old at the moment, but will turn 16 in October. My mam asked around an optician today and the woman told her it would be 45 a month for daily contact lenses. Is this correct? And if anyone out there wears daily contacts, how much do you pay? Why change daily contact lenses every day?
I'd like to know the real reason why you have to throw away daily lenses every day and cannot re use them, but I cannot find the answer and my optician doesn't seem to know.I have daily lenses and soak them overnight like normal soft lenses, then I re use them instead of throwing them away each day I re use them for 3 4 days before I throw them and so far everything is fine, so is there a real reason why I shouldn't keep doing this, because it saves me a great deal of money?My question is also the same for fortnight & monthly lenses, which I also have, but hardly use as they're not as comfy as dailies those lenses are as thick as my old soft lenses that you took care of and never threw away until you needed a stronger prescription so why throw away those lenses every fortnight or every month?Please can someone with real knowledge enlighten me? With daily contact lenses, do I still get solution or not?
I was thinking, when you come to take your contact lense out, if it's a little dry, what do you have to drip into your eye to moisten it up a bit? Can you buy a solution at the opticians or will they advise against it, as you don't have to clean daily contacts and just bin them after you've used them.also, if you put one in and it comes out somehow you take it out, do you have to bin it or can you wear it again? thanks

AquaComfort, Focus, ClearSight, Acuvue Daily Contact lenses, which one to choose?
Acuvue is the most expensive here . Focus is a little bit lower. Aquacomfort is low and Clearsigh has the lowest price among them. So which one I choose to wear? I am a 23 girl.
