If you wear glasses can you wear cosmetic contact lenses?
im short sighted and wear glasses, but i would love to be able to wear cosmetic ones underneath for special occasions etc.would it be safe to wear them without damaging my eyesight... further?
What causes cosmetic contact lenses to become un-wearable/expire?
I want to know what happens to the lenses that makes them un wearable after the 90 days after they're opened. If there is a way to extend the period in which I can wear them, please tell me I just ordered a pair from Winky Eyes or something like that and it said that after 90 days they expire. I wanted to know the reason and if it'd be okay to wear them anyways.Well then. It's not like I plan on wearing them for extended periods of time Only if I feel like going somewhere for a few hours or something. The only reason I bought them online is because I had money given to me for Christmas for Amazon.com and I found them on there. I just thought it would be fun to see what they look like on me. A lot of people I know have ordered cosmetic lenses online and they didn't seem to have any problems.
Keratoconus and cosmetic contact lenses?
I have keratoconus in both eyes and already use RGP contact lenses, for Halloween me and some friends have decided to get funky colored cosmetic contact lenses. Is this advisable in my condition.

Hey, so i bought a johnson and johnson acuvue colours cosmetic contact lenses about a month ago and i haven't used them very often, maybe around 4 times only. I checked the box, i couldn't find any expiration dates. Its colour is hazel green and i have no vision problems presently. Can i use these contact lenses anymore?Thanks in advance

i've had a pair of green cosmetic contact lenses for over 5 months will they still be ok to wear,they don't have an expiry date and i have a pair of grey contact lenses and just bought them in the summer holidays every time i put them on they are a bit blurry.

I have a pale green eye colour and have always envied those with dark brown eyes. I was wondering about possibly using cosmetic lenses to change the colour of my eyes just to see what I would look like.The question is, are they safe? Cosmetic Contact lenses?
So i recently bought some red cosmetic contact lenses non prescribed.I used them one day and i can see clear from the front but from the bottom of my eye i could see some of the red of the contact. IS this okay to use??I thought it was okay since i have some prescribed color contact lenses and when i use them i see okay in the middle portion but a bit of the bottom of my eye vision i see it blurry. Is something wrong?

I'm about to buy a pair of Korean " Big Eye" contact lenses which are costmetic and I'm wondering whether ANY sort of testing on my eyes should be done.Recently my friend purchased a pair from a contact lense store which ships contact lenses from Korea. It is not an optometrist store although they do go through correct usage and maintenance of the lenses.My question is, are all the contact lenses suitable for everyone or does everyone need a specific pair which is suited to their eye's optical power?
