Clear care eye contact lenses solution question, please help!?
I have recently went to the eye doctor, and they recommended me to use an eye solution called clear care. I have been using optifree replenish for years now and I personally like it. The office advised me to use clear care once a week, and I can just continue using replenish as normal. But I was wondering, have any of you used clear care once a week, and then used another solution all other times? Is that even safe for the eye? Clear care supposedly helps get more bacteria out, and that I'm suppose to soak it in case for 6 hours before use, and then I can continue on with my optifree replenish? Have any of you had any experience with this and how did it turn out? If you have, please tell me how you used it. Thank you.
Do I really need special gas permeable contact lenses solution or will saline solution work just as good?
I just started wearing gas permeable contact lenses. I have worn them in the past and I always used regular bausch 'n' lomb saline solution that I had used with my soft contact lenses in the past. The cost of gas permeable solutions vs. soft contact lens solution is just ludicrious so I decided not to switch. I trust doctors as about as far as I can throw them. I think they all just want to take our money and then watch us shrivel up and die. So Im curious as to whether or not this gas permeable saline solution is really necessary or just a new product to milk our pocketbooks for all were worth. Should I buy gas permeable lens solution or no?
What's the best contact lenses solution?
When does my contact lenses solution expire?
In May I got a 3 pack of Kirkland Contact Lenses Solution and I've barely used up one bottle but on the box, the expiration date says 'DEC 12" . I don't know if that means December 12 of this year, 2011, or just December 2012. Any help would be much appreciated.
Has anyone ever used SOLO-care AQUA (contact lenses solution)?
Is it good?Have you heard anything bad about it?
Can all-in-one contact lenses solutions such as solo care aqua be used as eye drops?
I know that there are special re wetting drops for contact lenses, but I really don't want to spend the money to buy that if I could just use the cleaning solution. Sometimes my soft contacts feel uncomfortable, and I use the solution to rinse my eye of debris or to moisturize.
Is it okay to use expired contact lenses solution?
I'm about to use a 2 week contact lenses and I just noticed that the solution I'm gonna use will be expired on Feb 2012. I'm gonna use it tomorrow Jan 29 . Can I continue using it for that 2 weeks time? I have no time to go out and buy a new solution.

So the other night I put my contacts lenses in the Clear Care case that came with it and left it there for 6 hours as said I was out of regular solution so i just filled my regular case not the clear care one with the clear care solution. If I dont have contact lenses solution, can I leave my contacts in water?
Contact lenses solution: how many times?
i now have my contact lenses for the first time ever it's great compared to those glasses ahah but my question is how many times do i have to change the solution of my contact lenses? the overnight solution, that's what i'm talking about. do i have to change them everytime i will be placing my contacts in them? or just once a day? my optician forgot to mention them to me, and i forgot to ask her as well ahaha thanks in advance p.s. my solution is a multi purpose polyhexanide solution, if that is significant at all.
Contact Lenses solution: which is which?
Recently I ran into trouble buying solution for contact lenses. I bought Clear Care but it turned out to be a super potent cleansing solution that actually destroyed two pairs of my contacts unusable even after extensive rinsing and soaking in my old everyday solution . I'm looking for specific brands and products of the solutions as well as the the type of instructions that I need to be aware of to avoid confusion. I do NOT need the type of solution after which I have to rinse fifteen times then leave lenses soaking for 24 hours before putting them back into my eyes and still being afraid that its going to burn. I'm looking for a normal regular solution after using which I can simply put in my contacts the next morning. Thanks in advance.
