Buying RGP contact lenses online with astigmatism?
I was looking at several RGP contact lenses online and noticed that none of them had a field to enter the CYLINDER and AXIS. Is this because RGP contact lenses automatically correct astigmatism due to their rigid shape? If that's not the case could you give me a link s to some sites with torric with astigmatism RGP contacts for sale. Thanks. princeidoc I've had contacts in the past and am wearing glasses now. I'm considering getting contacts again and am just looking around to see what my options are and researching before deciding if I really want them again and choose go to get a new contacts prescription.

Should I just order my contact lenses online without going to my optometrist first?
Like, I did the trial pair thing, and the contacts feel fine and I can see perfectly with them, but my optometrist wants me to go in the office so they can check to see if they fit correctly and I can see even though I know myself that I can, and then they will order the contacts for me. I wear soft, aspheric lenses. I have the same Power 3.25 in both eyes, the same Base Curve 8.7 and the same Diameter 14.3 . When you come to the check out on nearly every contact lens sight it doubles the amount of money so you're buying one lot for both eyes. However, if I have exactly the same prescription, surely I can just buy an L or R set those who have bought online will know what I'm on about . Another thing too... even though I'm wearing aspheric lenses, my optometrist says that my astigmatism is very mild. Does this mean that I can get away with just normal lenses? I'm also looking for some lenses that are aspheric, but coloured.Loads of questions requests, I know. Thanks in advance Lucy..
