Contact Lenses For Astigmatism

Where can I buy cheap contact lenses for astigmatism?
I live in the UK and at the moment the cheapest price I can find for Johnson and Johnson 1 day Acuvue for Astigmatism is 38 per month. I can only find information for sites in the US which I don't really want to buy from. I know that the own brand e.g. Specsavers, Boots, etc are the same as the bigger brands just with the shop name on them. Does anyone know who Johnson and Johnson rebrand for??

Can I get -.75 CYL contact lenses for astigmatism if I am -.50 and -.25 in my eyes?
They do not make lenses for astigmatism for eyes CYL under .75, and I want new contact lenses. My old ones were just my prescription without the astigmatism, should i do that again...or try the toric lenses with .75?

One day contact lenses for astigmatism?
I have an astigmatism, and already wear glasses, and I'm looking into contacts. If I got contacts, I would definitely prefer one day lenses, as I play sports and stuff, so if it falls out I don't want to worry about it being lost and me having to look for it because I need them for the either the rest of the month or they year. My vision isn't horrible at all, without the astigmatism, I wouldn't need glasses probably.

Do contact lenses for astigmatism also take care for near sight vision?
I was thinking of getting acuvue advanced because i have an astigmatism and im also nearsighted. I was just wondering if these contacts are ok to take care of them both. My vision isn't that good its kind of high, but i really wanna try contacts out. thanks.

How important is the axe precision in contact lenses for astigmatism?
I've been wearing monthly contacts for a few years now, but I'd like to switch to dailies.I have astigmatism and I use the following Softlens 66 toric Sph 0,75 Cyl 1,25 Axe 70 But when I look at availability in dailies, the axes are limited to 20, 90, 160 and 180 . Would it be ok to use the closest value 90 ? Would this affect my vision a lot?Thanks very much Thanks for the answers.Just thought I'd add some details I have my regular eye checkup scheduled in 2 months, I just wanted to hold out until then and dailies seems a better choice. Also, where I live, I can go and buy any lens I want over the counter without a prescription.

Colored contact lenses for astigmatism??
i know u can get colored contact lenses for astigmatism... but does it cost e xtra than regular colored contact lenses?? and how much extra?

Does anyone use contact lenses for astigmatism?
I'm thinking about switching to astigmatism contacts, but before buying a box I'd like to know if they're much of an improvement over regular soft contact lenses. I currently use Acuvue 2, but the optometrist said I was okay to use the astigmatism lenses....I just use the Acuvue 2 because they are the cheapest at around $20 a box. Footprintz Actually it is something I can just switch to on my own. I already have the prescription. I just have the regular lenses still because they are cheaper.

K I went to an optometrist a couple of weeks ago, it's been a while since I've had an eye exam. But he did the fit test etc. and I picked out my contacts. I know I have an astigmatism should I have mentioned this. Cause I'm pretty sure your supposed to get a thicker lens for an astigmatism. And I think both of my contact lenses are soft. I also got glasses from the same place both with the same prescription. And the glasses are a little uncomfortable to see through.

I have the Acuvue Advanced 2 contact lenses for ASTIGMATISM and I wanted to switch over...?
to Freshlook Colorblends Toric lenses because they have color and the Acuvues dont. DO you think that would pose a problem. BTW it's almost time for my next eye exam

Contact lenses for astigmatism and dry eyes?
Hi I went to the opticians today after trying out the frequency xcel toric lenses because I have astigmatism. However, they felt very uncomfortable because I have dry eyes and therefore I think they are unsuitable. The ones I were originally going to have were about 100's a year but they have told me I now need to get the acuvue advance toric lenses because of my dry eyes but these will cost me 200's a year. But because I am 16 I am only earning a little bit of money and will have to pay for them myself can anyone recommend a cheaper pair that are good for astigmatism and dry eyes? Thankyou

In 2008 I had a bad infection from my contacts ever since the infection i was never able to wear contacts again. it's been 3 years wearing glasses, and i want to wear contacts again. My eyes are very dry, also sensitive. Whenever i wore contacts in a half an hour my eyes would be blood shot red cause of how irritated my eyes were. I'm heading to the eye doctor very soon and i would like to get a free trial on some contacts. I just don't know what brand to look for. I had toric & acuvue.
