How much for contact lenses fitting?
I am going to get contacts and wondering how much the fitting fee is?I live in Toronto Canada?also how how much the fitting fee is at hakim?
How important is it to get contact lenses fitted?
I know you're supposed to get them " fitted" by an optometrist, but I can order them online at a generic size and a good price. I've worn contacts before, a few years ago, and I would like to use them again. However, I will be using them very rarely maybe for a day, once a month, at MOST . As a result, I want to get lenses with a minimal investment of time and money, so I'd prefer to by them online, and I don't want to bother with an expensive and time consuming fitting appointment, if possible. So how important is this fitting, then? Will it matter much if I'm using the lenses so rarely? Thank you all for your info.

HelloA little while ago, I went to boots to get tested to see if i was suitable for contact lenses. It was all OK, but we could not get them in. I gave up and I want to try again.Should I go back there and start the trial, or just try myself and buy my own dailies and try myself.In the mean time, is there anything I can do to practice opening my eyes etcTa
Contact lenses fitting issues?
A few months back I had an eye exam and was fitted for contacts. However my right eye feels fine, can't even tell I have them in. My left eye is really bugging me,it feels like if I pull my eye wide open the lens feels fine, but the moment I let go of my eyelid and let it close normally it drives me nuts...like a feeling of having to blink contstantly. I've tried drops, cleaning them.

last last yr i took a contact lenses fitting exam and got 2 packs of acuvue soft contactsi stopped wearing contacts for like 1.5 yrsand i'm planning on wearing soft contacts again.do i need to take the exam again?? or can i just get new contacts by bringing the box of the contacts from 2 yrs ago to the pharmacy and give them my new prescription??sorry i mean i took the exam two years ago and only wore the contacts for half a yr

Is going from a 8.8 to a 8.6 base curve going to affect the way my contact lenses fit on my eye?
i have an 8.8 base curve prescription on my contact lenses right now but i was thinking of getting some color lenses that only come in 8.4 8.6 base curve. if i get the 8.6, will it have a dramatic affect on the way they fit on my eye? will they cause severe irritation? please help thank you
