Contact Lenses Base Curve

My contact lenses base curve is 8.5 could i wear a 8.4?
my eyes are rejecting my lens so in order to try a new more breathable type i need to switch brands but the nearest base curve is 8.4 will this be ok or is it out the question also if my cornea are being damaged due to contacts does that mean i am at danger of losing my sight due to the lens wearing?and as aging is also playing a part does this mean i am losing my vision with or without contact lens wearing?i cant use 8.5 as they do not make them anymore the point of the question was can i wear an 8.4 or is nothing?no offense but only reply if you know wat you are talking about, i dont think yoga is going to help or they wood have recommended it to my blind father

When getting a different brand of contact lenses, base curve and diameter...?
Do they have to be the exact same base curve and diameter? I've been using fortnightly lenses but I just want to buy a pack of daily disposable ones for times when theyre more conveniant, do I have to get the same base curve and diameter as the fortnightly lenses that my optician first gave me?For soft lenses

Contact lenses (Base Curve) 8.9 to 8.5?
I normally get my contacts from my optician but its quite expensive so I looked into buying some cheaper online. My base curve is 8.9 on my old subscription but I cant seem to find any with that BC online.What effect would 8.5 have on 8.9? And if it's not possible does this mean the only way to get right fitting lenses is to pay more for the same subscriptions as original? sorry poor wording at the end

Contact lenses Base Curve(BC)?
Hi, I'm currently wearing base curve BC 8.8 DIA 14.0 acuve fortnightly . i wanna get the monthly one because its cheaper but this ones BC is 8.6. can i also use that as well or i have to use that 8.8?This is for my eye so i have consider carefully.. can any optometrist answer this question please? cheersoh and how about diameter? the one i'm using its 14.0 but other ones 14.2. is it still okay to wear it?

9mm sfx contact Lenses, Base curve ? ? ?
hey, ive been wearing soloticia mel lenses for a good 9 months now. And am ok with them but I wanted to try 9mmsfx light green lenses, but you need to enter your base curve and the diamater.But i wont go to an eye doctor cause of personal fears, but my soloticia's im wearing are a base curve of 8.7 AND diameter of 14.2 but 9mmsfx only offer 14.0 Do you think it'd be ok to order the 9mmsfx bc of 8.7 AND dia of 14.0 lenses, seeing as though i'm ok with the soloticias.Thankyou x x x

Contact lenses base curve & diameter? Acuvue oasys vs Acuvue one-day moist?
Hello, I am trying to replace my Acuvue Oasys with the one day Acuvues. The Oasys have a BC of 8.4 and diameter of 14, the lowest BC and diameter that the Acuvue one day moist has is 8.5 and 14.2, how do I determine which to get?
