Is it safe to wear color contact lenses if I have Keratoconus?
It's an eye disorder where the cornea is slightly irregular and not perfectly round.. but mine is very mild according to the optometrist.Does anyone think it is safe to wear circle colour contact lenses?
Please Help! Is it bad to color contact lenses to stay in water for 2 seconds?
I've bought a new pair of colored contact lenses yesterday and I wore them today, but when I got home I noticed that I was out of solution. The store is closed and tomorrow, sunday, is closed too, so I can only buy the solution on monday. So I thought of putting them in water. I did but 2 seconds later I took them out because I wanted to know what other people's opinions are but I only found people who had put them, like, for days... Is it bad just for a matter of 2 seconds? Is it okay to let them be and put them in solution a day later?

im 17, perfect vision and havent been to a eye doctor ever, that im aware of, except for the occasional school eye exams that have said i have perfect vision. all i want are colored eye contacts. i know i have to get a prescription to get contacts so i was wondering how much would it cost for eye fitting and such at walmart? i heard theyre the cheapest way to get an eye exam and to get the prescription. so how much in total would it cost me to get the prescription?

So my friend told me there was this girl who was wearing contact lenses and she was cooking.. You know when you cook there's this smoke from the food? Well, while she was cooking the smoke was going going to her eye and then it melted and she became blind. KINDA FREAKY. Soo I wanna know what to avoid when I wear contacts lenses so that the contacts won't melt or anything that would make me blind. I have a prescription but not for colored contact lenses. If i want to order colored contact lenses, will they make me come to their place for anything? I just got my prescription 2 months ago so i don't want to have to come in again. I once bought some coloured contact lenses but I couldn't wear them because they really hurt my eyes as soon as I put them in. At my last opticians appointment I was told that I had astigmatism which means my eyes are slightly differently shaped to normal. The contacts I was recommended were '1 day acuvue moist' which were fine, my prescription was BC 8.5, DIA 14.2 and the strength was 1.50 in both eyes. These aren't coloured though so I was wondering if there are any coloured contact lenses that I could wear with my astigmatism and my prescription. Thanks
