Question: Are slightly torn colored contact lense safe to wear?

I have some colored contact lens and one of them got torn a tiny bit on the edge. i can't get a refund and i don't have enough money to get more! I really need to know if they are okay to wear. My mom has been wearing contact lens for a very long time and says they might irritate a little bit but other wise it's up to me. Please help!

They may or may not irritate your eyes a bit. If they do, throw them out. You just have a single pair? It's MUCH more common nowadays to have frequent replacement. The Freshlook Colorblends and the Acuvue Opaque/ Colors are two week replacement and come in boxes of six.

NO. Torn contacts are NOT safe to wear.
