How can my cheap sunglasses be polarized?
When I first bought my sunglasses from my school student store , it had a " polarized" sticker on it. I tested them to see if they were polarized by putting them on and looking at my laptop's LCD screen. When i tilted my head, the screen turned black, so i know these sunglasses must be polarzed. My question is, how in the world can my sunglasses be polarzed when I purchased them for only $20 $30? Do you think it's because the quality of polarization is not very good? Thanks.

I can only afford some 10 dollar shades and someone told me the cheap ones are bad for my eyes. Any truth to this?
Can I replace the lenses in my cheap sunglasses with non RX safety lenses?
I need to have safety glasses for work but they never fit me right and the way that normal safety glasses are shaped tend to make me dizzy. I have a pair of favorite sunglasses that I want to replace the lenses with safety lenses. Walmart told me I needed a current RX even though I told them it would be non RX lenses. Does anyone else do this? Can it be done??

I have some sunglasses. I have a cheap one for school and ray ban club masters for every time i need to wear sunglasses besides school. I don't wear my ray bans to school since i am afraid someone will steal it, i will weak it, loose it and that i will seem like a rich kid since everyone else wears cheap ones too. Besides a few who wear oakleys. I got some cheap ones from zumiez and i heard that if they don't have U.V. protection it can be worse for your eyes. Can I buy cheap sunglasses frames and then take them to get prescription lenses?

I wear glasses and my eyes will not allow contacts. I am always being blinded by the sun when driving. I have a great pair of cheap sunglasses that I love. I wonder if I can get some prescription lenses put into them. At my eye doctor, you can buy special sunglasses that you pick the frames and then they put in your presciption and tint them. I was wondering if you know that you can do that with any frames. I know you can get different options for your everyday glasses but I do not like those options and prefer a separate pair.
Does wearing cheap sunglasses harm your eyes?
I bought this pair of sunglasses on eBay and it only cost like around 10 bucks. Pretty cheap. They were clear lenses sunglasses and the seller said it had 100 % UV protection. But I'm only going to wear it at school sort of like a fashion thing. So will that harm my eyes? Either to wear that inside, or just in general? Thanks.

I have recently heard that it would be extremely harmful if people use these sunglasses for a long time and or frequently. As for me, when I use them for like more than an hour or so, when I take them off my face, for a few minutes my vision is weird not normal anyway . They say this is actually the clear sign of damage to your eyes. If you have more information, please share it, especially doctors, eye doctors ophthalmologists , or people who have had experience on this issue. Thanks.

Cheap sunglasses are bad for your eyes?
I've heard it many times in the past, but usually from the kid with the trust fund, or sports promotions contract from oakley, or the rich divorced workaholic dad, who always got the cool toys.So, it makes sense that wearing some sort of tinted eye protection in general would help block out UV rays, especially in this day and age of SPF 95.So, are my cheap Dollar store sunglasses, meant mostly for comfort, actually worse for my eyes than no sunglasses at all? What if I splurged on the $20 pair at the variety store, and made a mental note to avoid accidentally sitting on them for the next month?The question is, are cheap sunglasses BAD bad for my eyes, or are they just drastically inferior to those authentic Ray Bans or Oakleys or Guccis in terms of protection, but still better than nothing at all?

considering your eyes and not the look or the brand is it okay to buy cheap sunglasses. do they protect your eyes just as well.
