Hello I am 19 and I have been wearing glasses since I was 9 or 10. Prescribed at school, my problem is I am nearsighted, so from a certain distance I see everything else blurry. I am honestly feeling really bothered by my glasses lately, don't know why since I've had them for some long. I have a copy of my prescription and I wanted to know if it is the same for contacts?I know I have to get fitted for contacts but, can't I take a hot at buying them an " average" size online? For contacts, is my prescription of 500 DP the same ? I ask this because online I am asked for my prescription which is 500 and also asks for the size of the contacts, if it is the same prescription for both glasses and contacts will it really be a bad thing if I take a guess on the size of the contacts? I used to get the the emerald green contacts from a company called FIne & Clear from their Naturals collection but i can't find them anywhere ever since stores like Pink Zone and The Closet stopped selling them It has been so difficult to find a store that sells the exact same one's. I can't even find them on the internet under that brand's website They only cost me $16 and lasted for about 6 8 months so i'm trying to find the same ones and if not those then some that are very similar and for around $20 or less that last for months... Just went to the eye doc. Got my new prescription. Eyes got a little worse. I've always worn Baush & Lomb Soflens Torics. And I've liked them. No problems. He gave me some trial Cooper lenses to try and Acuvues too. I'm gonna price contacts. First, when you buy contacts on line, do you need to give them proof of your new prescription? Anyone had any problems with on line contacts? I saw that Walgreens offered 20 % off their contacts. Anyone ordered from them? What about 1 800 contacts? And, what are people's fave brands and the best ones?On my prescription, it's got Soflens for Astigmatism. If I wanted to order Acuvues, will the on line place accept that?
