Bifocal Contact Lenses
Which are the best brand of bifocal contact lenses?
If you can tell me where I can get them or a linbk of the site that would be good. Thanks.
Are there bifocal contact lenses for astigmatism?
I have astigmatism and normally wear Toric lenses with readers on top. I also have varifocal glasses. I want to wear contact with no readers. I have some ordinary bi focal lenses, but although good, my vision is a bit blurry due to the astigmatism.I have heard there are some contacts I can have but they are not disposable.HELP
My bifocal contact lenses suck!?
Is this as good as it gets? I can see fine close up now but I can't even see to drive when I have them in. Did my optometrist screw up? I hate wearing glasses but these lenses just ain't gonna get it.If it's like y'all say, would RK surgery be able to correct what is wrong with my eyes? I'm really hating wearing glasses...
I know that bifocal contact lenses take time to get used to, but in the meantime, what do you do?
Do you wear your reading glasses on top of the bifocals? or do you try to cope?
Do they have colored bifocal contact lenses????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I wear bifocal contacts, But i cant find colored bifocal lenses. Do they have colored bifocal lenses?
Has anyone tried bifocal contact lenses?
I hear they are weighted . I don't want to try the type where one eye in for close and one for far. I have always had contacts but now need bifocals and these glasses drive me nuts.
How much does a pair of average bifocal contact lenses cost? ?
in ? and are they worth trying?
Do bifocal contact lenses really work?
RGP bifocal contact lenses?
Ok, so I've heard that bifocal contacts reduce myopia but sites only mention soft bifocal contact lenses slowing it down. They come in rgp material too and I'm not sure if they work as well as soft lenses. I don't feel like owning a billion pair of soft ones and the rgp last a year. So I'm wondering if you can also wear gp bifocal lenses and if they'll still slow myopia progression? I have high myopia. And which bifocal design is best to slow vision? Thanks The normal RGPs itself slow myopia. Would it work even better as bifocal contacts?
New bifocal contact lenses - is it normal at first for one eye to be blurrier than the other?
I am new to contacts and just got my trial pair of progressive bifocal contacts. I noticed that if I cover the left eye my right eye vision is pretty sharp i.e., seems reasonably in line with the prescription. But when I cover the right eye and look at the same distance it is distinctly more blurred almost to the point of double vision. Optical place told me that may be normal and part of my 'brain' adapting to the contacts. I don't get this because i do not have mono vision ones do not like that design but rather the progressive type. It sure seems like they have the prescription wrong. Is it normal for some sort of adjustment period that would cause vision to gradually 'sharpen' when you first start wearing contacts? Thanks for any advice Mike
How have bifocal contact lenses worked for you?
I am considering getting contacts. At the moment I wear glasses used to wear contacts awhile back . I have bi focal glasses and hate them, so I use my regular glasses for regular seeing stuff and change to readers when I do close up work. I do this because no matter how hard I try or how long I wear the bifocal glasses, they make me nauseous They have been adjusted and 3 different doctors have stated it is me and not the glasses. They have suggested the contacts. My question for everyone is Have you tried the bifocal contact lenses and how did you like them? I want to get the kind that are " multi" focal and not the kind where one eye is one script and the other eye is another script. Thanks for your answers.
Has anyone tried bifocal contact lenses?
How do you like them? Were they hard to get used to?

Bifocal contact lenses--any hope for me?
got tired of wearing reading glasses, so asked my optometrist for RGP bifocals. I am now on my 3rd pair of different material, the first two were just unwearable, caused a lot of discomfort. The 3rd pair the optometrist tells me is made of special material for sensitive eyes. Were OK for 2 3 weeks, but then started feeling as if I had sand in my eyes I tried to tough it out for couple days hoping it would get better, but am now back to wearing my old contacts & reading glasses again. Why would bifocals cause so much discomfort? I've been wearing hard lenses for almost 30 years and never except when I got them for the very first time had such a difficult time with them. Any idea what the problem might be, and what the contact lens solution sorry, couldn't resist that might be?
