Astigmatism Contact Lenses

I just got toric astigmatism contact lenses today. I've only had them on for a few hours.?
My vision is at times a bit blurry. Is this normal? It's like how things look a bit different or a little blurry after you get new glasses. Is this normal? What can I do to fix the blurriness?

Are all astigmatism contact lenses firmer in the middle than the outsides?
I started out with just regular acuve oasis lenses and they were completely soft. But then I got my perscription lenses for astigmatism and the center of the lenses are harder and they wont stick to my finger as well. Is this normal?

Acuvue oaysis for astigmatism contact lenses?
on 1800 contacts, the highest cylinder power was 2.25. My prescription says that my cylinder strength is 2.50 and 1.00 for my other eye but neither of these choices werent on 1800 contacts...are acuvue oaysis for astigmatism different or do i just have to order them at the doctor's office?...what is the highest cylinder acuvue oaysis for astigmatism can go im just curious because im worried that my astimatism could get worse ?

I love wearing contact lenses instead of my glasses, but I was told last year I would eventually have to switch to astigmatism contact lenses. They gave me a trial pair and I COULD NOT wear them They felt like I constantly had something stuck in my eye and I couldn't keep my eyes open because they were so uncomfortable. Is that something I could eventually get used to? Has this happened to anyone? Or am I going to be stuck wearing glasses for the rest of my life?I've been wearing my regular contact lenses for the last year after I was told I needed to switch and so far they've been fine, but recently I've noticed some double vision and excessive blurring of my vision, both with my contacts in and with my glasses on.

I hate astigmatism contact lenses! I wanna wear regular ones.?
I recently started wearing toric contact lenses for my astigmatism on my left eye and I hate it Every time I blink my vision gets blurry because the contact moves. I feel my vision was better using regular lenses. Is it normal for toric lenses to be like that? My vision is clear half the time and blurry the rest. Its really annoying. I'm thinking of just wearing my old regular lenses instead. What do you guys suggest?

Astigmatism contact lenses?
I am currently wearing astigmatism toric lenses. I reordered the same brand for later use. I wear my old contact for about 4 to 5 months. When I changed to my new contact lenses, it became blurry, I can see clear sometimes because the lense rotate, but the perscriptions are the same also the brand. I am wondering is it because my eye is use to the old contact lenses and when I change it to new one it won't get use to it for a while. Or it just wont fit? can someone please tell me why? Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism contact lenses...?
Some one told me that most acuvue contacts have an 'inside out mark' that tells you if your contact is flipped or correct either a 123 or an AV that will read correctly versus upside down depending on whether the contact is right or not. Does Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism have this? I checked my lenses but I can't see anything like that the only thing is that line that keeps the contact weighted correctly positioned correctly. Anyone actually have the mark?thanks i felt a bit retarded trying to find it when everyone was saying it was so easy to see

Astigmatism contact lenses....?
my wife went a got her eyes checked today for contacts. We decided to use a different doctor, and this doctor determined that she had an astigmatism with a power of 4.5. Is this possible??? He also wanted my wife to use toric lenses instead of normal ones that she have had no problems with in the past six years. To me it sounds like this doctor is trying to pawn my wife with more expensive contacts to make more profit for them. My eyes are pretty bad at 9.5 power and I have an astigmatism and I have never used toric lenses and seen just fine. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks

Astigmatism contact lenses?
Are these worth the price over regular contacts? I have astigmatism and have been wearing 'normal' contacts for years. I sometimes have trouble but I'm told that's normal also. Do any of you recommend the astigmatism lenses over the regular lenses?The price is scary.No clue what a diopter is. Couldn't tell ya.
